I have a lenovo g460 laptop. working fine but suddenly wont start. says some windows files are a problem. the start up repaid does seem to work (although disk light flashing) and I cannot start in safe mode...wont load..any ideas?

Does it come back up if you reboot? If so, you might have a video driver problem. Your laptop has an Nvidia N11M-GE1 graphics chip integrated into the system. However, you may have a worse problem. White screen issues are often caused by bad cabling, in which case you (or a certified technician) would have to open your laptop's bezel and check the wiring for the screen.

Third possibility is ensuring your power options are set to NOT turn off the screen after any amount of time. Sometimes Windows doesn't recognize that something as simple as a movie is currently playing, so it tries to hibernate, and that causes the issue.

Have you recently changed / Upgraded / re-installed your Operating system?

If you have made any changes to your operating system, try reinstalling the drivers,

if nothing has changed, and the web cam is suddenly not getting detected - take the lappy to a service center

make sure that you finalized the usb

Lenovo do not have Windows 8 bluetooth drivers on their support site.
You could try loading the WIndows 7 drivers (Broadcom Bluetooth Driver for Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit)

The same model ThinkPadcan have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless youknow exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download allthe drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download thedrivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a recordof which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files arelocated on your hard drive. Nvidia installations usually must be carried out with a large exe type file to install it.

Please click on this link for you to be albe to install the latest driver for the camera. Just choose the Operating System that is installed on your computer.

Note: Press Fn Esc, that's how you disabled/enabled the camera.

You can also install the software from the link that i provided you. Software for camera is Veriface and Youcam...

I'm not sure is BIOS Crisis recovery will work on your laptop but you may as well give it a try.

Turn the laptop off and hold Win-B or Fn-B as you start the laptop up.
