Few days back we reviewed Advanced Device Locks that can be used to lock SMS and other applications in a Symbian mobile phone . But ADL was a shareware mobile software and you need to pay after few days of use .Here is another application called Active SMS Lock that can lock SMS messages in Nokia and other Symbian devices . Go to "Messaging" select "Options", then "SIM Messages". Your SIM message memory may be full. so delete some of them and it will stop flashing.

Hello...the blinking light not only shows the bending sms but if you enable the "sleep mode" this light too blinking periodically.So, if you do not wish to blink the light and if there is no sms bending in the inbox....just disable the "sleep mode" from the phone setting.Good luck.thanks for visiting fixya

configure the message settings and put the message center number of service provider (u can ask from provider or can copy from other sim/phone who have same network provider sim)

Hi there, I'm sorry, but there is no way to have it store more SMS messages, or restore the deleted ones. If you want to save messages, you can use the "save message" option. I don't believe that will count to the 100 you can store in your inbox. Sorry, Alex

First, call your phone company. They might have stopped your service for some reason.
Then, if that doesnt seem to be the problem, make sure your SIM card is inserted all the way. If you cannot make it work that way then you need to perform a hard reset of your phone.

Open Profile > General > Personalize > Search and Click Message Tone > Choose the song with up-down arrow, wait for a while after click up/down to preview the song > Set as ringtone > Back to Profil > Click General profil > Option > Activate > Done.

Had the same problem, removing old SMS mesages from the SIM card done the trick !
