Vicks V3100 Humidifier

Probably needs cleaning. Use vinegar or CLR.

couple of screws on the bottom, but why take it all apart when you can probably run vinegar through it and let that do the work, smells a little, so maybe on the porch...

My humidifier is leaking. I is a Vicks V3900 Germ Free Cool Mist Humidifier. How do I solve this problem

They have the manual (you can print) and it shows a view of how everything assembles. The also have replacement parts.

the fan is not working properly it is defected,return item back to store or factory,if can you will have to repair but cost more then item.if my info was of help to you please leave a comment,vote,note.thankyou

On the Vicks v-3100 the water tank should lift off of the unit. Flip it over and there is a lid. Open the lid and fill the tank. Once you've filled it back up, put the lid back on. Flip the tank over to make sure there are no leaks, then put it back on the humidifier.

Note: It's very important to check to make sure the tank isn't leaking before you put it back on the humidifier, if it is, it will flood the reservoir, in turn causing water to leak out of the bottom of the humidifier (which is one of the major complaints about the 3100).
