Hi fearmhar1 ,

Thanks for your question at Fixya,

Please find the solution to your problem as follows :-

If you want to transfer your MS Office from one PC to the other, you can do that by copying the Microsoft office folder from your old computer to the new computer , and maintain the same directory pattern , but you would have to manually go in the folder and then open applications like word , powerpoint etc... and then you also would require to manually choose the programs for specific file types so that they open in the relevant application.

Now there are many people who download the complete office 2007 suite using torrent websites, however you should know that it has a risk , as usually these products are not genuine ones.

Hope this helps ...:) In case you have any queries , feel free to contact me.

Where is the product key mention for Microsoft office 2007

The product key is in different places, on the product case inside with the disc is usual. Or if you have bought a tower with Office preinstalled there may be a label attached to the case of the computer.

try this microsoft support page for advice where it would be.

My microsoft office 2007has expired

The office 2007 that you have was this a preinstall with your system? what I mean is, when you bought the computer did it have office installed? this is important cause the preinstalled office is a 60day only product, kind of like a demo so that you can get used to it and choose to purchase it, after it is expired you can go to the Microsoft website and buy a key for the product you want, like Office 2007 Home/Student or Office 2007 Professional. I think now though you will only be able to purchase Office 2010, as the demo support for office 2007 has been removed. if you have bought the office system from a software vendor you should have a box with a serial key on the inside cover, all you will need to do with that is enter the number then activate the suite and you will be officeing in no time. hope this helps

Product key code for microsoft office Home Student 2007. It is preinstalled on my new computer. When I open program a number pops up but closes too quickly for me to write all numbers down.

You got a trial version preinstalled. You have to buy a license to use it.Licenses can be purchased online for less than from Microsoft.

Dont like the fact that I do not have the toolbars as I did in 2003 edition. How can I get back to 2003 version?

if you've recently upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007 from 2003 and weren't happy with the decision, you can easily revert back to your older software. Each version of the Office software package will be considered a different program by your computer's operating system, so to revert back to your previous installation you only need to uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall Office 2003. Difficulty: Easy flow my Instructions
  1. Uninstall Office 2007. To do this, open the "Control Panel" and select "Add or Remove Programs." Click "Microsoft Office 2007" and then click "Remove."
  2. Put your Microsoft Office 2003 compact disc in your computer's appropriate drive. Either a CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive will work.
  3. Click "Next" to begin the installer for Office 2003. Continue to click "Next" until you reach the screen where you are asked for your product key code. Enter the product key code found in the Office 2003 packaging and click "Next."
  4. Enter your name, business name and initials (if you so choose). Click "Next."
  5. Choose which type of installation you would like to perform. You can choose to install each program in the Office 2003 productivity pack, a "typical" installation which installs only the most widely used programs like Word and PowerPoint, or a custom installation where you individually choose which programs will be installed.
  6. Click "Next" to view a summary of all of the installation settings you've specified. If you're happy with the summary, click "Install." This will install Microsoft Office 2003 on your computer using the settings you've meticulously specified.
hope that it will be help full

Microsoft word 2007 wont work on my computer anymore when it was working before. Theres no problem with my computer its pretty brand new.. Microsoft just wont work.. I can open documents but cant...

Hi Emma,
If you got the laptop with MS Office 2007 preinstalled, then i am in no doubt that it was a trial version of office which has expired.
This means that Office 07 is only given to you as a teaser and Microsoft want you to purchase a product key to reactivate office so you can use it to it's full potential.
Many people are under the impression that when they buy a new laptop which has Office 07 installed it is the full version, this I'm sorry to say is not the case.

Regards.

I have windows vista and MS office preinstalled on my laptop and ms word is not working.

Dear sir,

Generally Preinstalled windows Vista comes with 60 days trial MS office 2007.After 60 days trial expires,& it doesnt work.So you have to buy new office 2007 genuine software.
We cant suggest any pirated software because software piracy is theft.
so solution is buy MS office Genuine Versions.
