Whirlpool dishwasher series DU600 3381181. Now Dishwasher will not start, no lights. There is power to dishwasher connections. Dishwasher did not drain earlier so I pushed drain a few times and I got it to drain, so I ran it on hot cycle and it stopped without draining and not lights. Unhooked drain hose and drained it manually and closed door, nothing happens, no lights, no filling. Any ideas before I call the repairman? I have a whirlpool gu940scgq0 model dishwasher. She stopped working all together. Water at the bottom, though dishes were clean. No lights light up. So it stopped almost at the end of it's cycle. She is just dead. I've check the thermal fuse. Reads 1 ohm. The door switches have continuity when made and none when broken. So I think those are good also. Anything else to check before trying to replace the circuit board?. And is there a way of checking the board to see if it is good?

I have a quiet partner I and it is doing the same thing!
I have only had it for 3 months. It did it once before, then after about a week, I tried it again and it worked fine?
I can't find my warranty anywhere. I bought it at Lowes.
Does anyone have any kind of solution? Looks like it is a common problem.

There is a small replacable part on the control panel circuit board which is like a fuse. It actually is a temperature fuse and it blows when the environment gets too hot for the circuit board. Unplug the dishwasher and take the door apart so you can see the circuit board. If you trace the power wires one of them leads to a little white module with 2 electrical tabs. Unplug the 2 wires and unsnap the module. You can check it with an ohm meter. IF its good the meter will register almost a short. f it's bad it will be open. The parts place I went to didn't even need a model number and he says he goes through a lot of them.
