Lanier copier 7313 AG

When making copies, copies come out as if the paper was slid down the page. I asked you guys a month ago and was told the registration clutch needed replacing. Any idea how much this costs and where there is a dealer or repair person in our area. Our area Fisherville On Canada N0A 1G0

The clutches arnt too bad putting them in however... I own this model as a home copier but parts are hard to come by and to get a tech that knows how to repair is harder.

The going rate for lanier service is around 125-150.00 per hour plus parts.
clutch is probably around 90 bucks. Lanier Dealers and Ricoh dealers are all over the world. Google the nearest branch

Lanier 6613 copier. Image is offset down the page by 3 and 1/2 inches. Is this a setup issue? Any suggestions?

try making a copy and then open the door when the paper is in the center of the machine. if the image is offset before the paper hits the fuser(hot) rollers>the problem is in your drum unit (most likely a cleaning blade. If it happens after going through the fuser(hot) rollers you have a fuser roller problem. Most likely you have a worn drum cleaning blade which is cheaper the a drum. Good Luck.

The copies on our Lanier/7313 come out zebra stripped. The copies appear to copy better if we change the copy darkness to a lighter color.

Zebra striping is typically caused by a bad development clutch. Most likely, the developer and the development clutch will need to be replaced, but the 7313 is so old you may have trouble finding parts, or finding a technician to work on the machine.

Inappropriate spots of ink on copies

You might try setting the machine for card stock, this will slow the machine down therefore heating the toner better on the thicker paper.

I have a Lanier 7313 Copier which doesn't copy properly. Even with a new ink cartridge, the copies come out faded. Any ideas on what I can do?

This machine goes through developer pretty quickly. Sounds to me like it needs new developer and possibly a drum (and drum blade).

Lanier 6725 copier: Paper is always jamming and

I have worked for Lanier for 20 years, the 6725 was a great machine, but getting parts, spending $$$ and still having an old copier. Lanier is owned by Ricoh and all machines are Ricoh with a Lanier sticker on it. Its time.
-Carl, please let me know if this helps.

I guess by your fault description that there is a blank gap before the printing starts? The only way to cure this problem is to replace the registration clutch as it is turning on too late and not releasing the paper quick enough. Also check that the paper tray dial is displaying the correct paper size and position.

Thanks Jason
