I have had the same problem, I tried swapping the mother board (main board) no luck same problem. It must be one of the other boards, I just gave up and purchased another Hisense 4K 43" smart TV for about the same price I paid for the 40H3E unit. I just hope it does not have the same problem down the road.I have had the same problem, I tried swapping the mother board (main board) no luck same problem. hi it's possible you could have a faulty tuner on the tv, check the aerial connection on the back of the tv pinch the center pin together not to much pressure thanks
Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Hit the menu button. By hitting the volume button once you will see a menu to adjust TV. Click down by hitting channel to TV frame. Click adjust volume.
Call Hisense for a firmware upgrade. Screen on our Hisense suddenly went blank last weekend too and aparently there was a broadcast that had upset a lot of models. Hisense Support will send you out a USB stick with a firmware upgrade
This could be a couple of problems. I'm not trying to make you feel dumb or anything but sometimes people miss the obvious. Do you have an universal remote? How is your vct wired to your tv? Does your cable go to your vct or your tv first? These sound like silly questions but they are important.
