Conversion of WAG160N from Annex B to A is not possible. The firmware for Annex A is only for Annex A only and the firmware for Annex B is for Annex B only.

You will need to connect Via the ethernet port on your Dlink and Computer direct first then you can configure your router from there and reestablish the web link afterwards.
* NOTE: If you tried to set-up the WRT-160N Router previously, but failed, with the Router ON, press the "Reset" button on the back panel and hold it down for 10 seconds, then release. This will reset the Router to factory settings and erase all previous data. Then do this 1. Hook up the Linksys WRT-160N Router to the modem(cable, DSL or satelitte) 2. Hook up the Linksys WRT-160N Router to your computer via a LAN cable with the LAN cable in Port #1 on the Linksys WRT-160N Router. 3. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your web browser. 4. Log-on to the Linksys WRT-160N Router with these log-on credentials: Username: linksys (lower-case) Password: admin (lower-case) 5. Click on the "Clone PC MAC Address" tab. 6. Click the "Clone PC MAC Address" button. 7. Click "Save", click "Continue". 8. Click the "Wireless Security" tab. 9. Choose "WPA2 Personal - TKIP/AES" for encrypted security. 10. Enter encryption password (passphrase). 11. Click "Save", click "Continue". 12. Exit the web browser. 13. Disconnect the LAN cable from the computer and Port #1 on the Linksys WRT-160N Router. In about 5 seconds, your wireless connection should be up and running.
One option you have is to go to safe mode and uninstall video driver in device manager and reboot your pc and it will detect it by it self and put it in right resolution. It is possible that drivers were corrupted if it got scrambled, also make sure it can support it. Best place to get drivers would manufacturer site not via update driver button. To get to safe mode you need to shut down your pc and press power to turn it back and and once this is done keep on tapping F8 key until you get Advanced Startup Menu. From here just choose safe mode and follow prompts. Once in safe mode right click on my computer and click manage option. On left side of new window click on Device Manager and locate driver for display. Right click on it and click uninstall and follow prompts. Once done reboot and should be all set. Good luck
OK the main problem right now that the only data carrier in Saudi Arabia (STC) is upgrading its infrastructure to provide high bandwidth to end users. STC is using HuaweiMSAN which doesn't support linksys.
Here is a firmware update which they say it will overcome some of your problems.
Ethernet cable from the back of your cable modem to the internet port of the 160n. Any computer that will be wired to the internet will then run from the ethernet port in the back of the computer to one of the four ports on the 160 otherwise, using your wireless internet, the computer will be able to see the signal put out by the 160 and connect to it. Oh and please take a moment to rate this solution with a fixya rating. Thanks!
it is highly probably annex B (same type as mine), but by mistake I flashed it to annex A (newest firmware from Belkin UK), but there is no way back to the old annex B, beware before you try...
