I cant work out how to move shortcut icons i.e Facebook app to a different home screen and how to delete shortcut items from a home screen?

First, browse to the Facebook page you want to create a shortcut to.
Highlight the entire entry in your browsers address bar, then right click and select Copy.
Go to your Desktop, right click an empty area, move the cusor over 'New' and then select 'Shortcut'.
Right click in the box, select Paste and click Next.
In the next box, you can change the name for this shortcut if you wish, then click Finish to create the Shortcut.

Every shortcut to a program has an Icon assigned to it. if you notice the android icons have different names. this is normal. From what I can see they look like shortcuts to websites.

Sometimes icons get deleted. Have a look in the recycle bin and see if it is there. If not, you can create a new one. in your browser, send a shortcut to the desktop

Hi, there are two desktop backgrounds on the China N97, one has the shortcut icons and the other one is a background without the icons, the shortcut icons on the first cannot be removed to the walk around for it is to press and hold the existing background and the dragging the finger to either the left or right of the screen, this should change the background and the shortcut icons must be gone.
