Hey, I have the tv isted in the subject and I no longer have the remote. So today I wqas play on my 360 and I wanted to turn up the volume but instead letters came up saying VOL.23 and the number 2 ws in each corner of the TV screen and now all the colors and sharpness is messed up on the TV screen and it is terribly hard to read any letters on the screen. Any suggestions?

It can be the remote sensor, or the circuitry that works with it. I don't know its exact location for your model, but you can usualy find it, because at its location it looks like a little black or dark red window in front of it.
The sensor and its related circuitry are servicable. To find the exact fault will require using a DVM and an oscilloscope to trace down where the signal is stopping from the sensor. The sensor feeds the main uPC controler via a number of components on the circuit board. An experienced service tech should be able to troubleshoot this for you, and replace the defective parts. On rare occasions the fault can be with the uPC itself.
It is also possible that there is a cold solder connection on the circuit board that is stopping the remote sensor from getting the remote signals to the uPC.

Yes I have solved my problem. Thank you very much for the help. I came across a web site that gives you the TV codes so I can program my Direct remote.Thank you again.

You need a new VCR belt it located on right side of the vcr tray take your finger and start rotate the belt clockwise, it should release the tape. or the motor is going bad.
Press the "On" button on the symphonic TV to turn that set on.

Hold down the TV button on the symphonic remote until all of the buttons on that remote flash.
3.
Type in 0053 code for the symphonic TV remote as you point the remote toward the TV.

Press either the "Power" or "Pound" ("#") button on the symphonic remote to save the code
