New out of the box. won't dispence water to make espresso

  • Anonymous Feb 20, 2012

Not sure if you've found a solution to this or not, but when I first got my machine, it did the same thing. I found that I hadn't pushed the water well down far enough. Once you've pushed it down far enough, a few air bubble pop up. I hope this helps!

Hi. Is your pump working. Should be able to hear it. If its making a really loud noise then it could be an air lock in the line. Try using the hot water button to bleed the system. Also see if it will despence water wiyhout any coffee in handle. Dazza REPAIRER

Take a syringe (no needle) filled with water, stick it in one of the little holes where the water goes in. expel the syringe, with about 10-20mL of water. Then turn on the dispenser, keep doing this. eventually it will suck the water out of the syringe. this bleeds the air out on first use. I had to do this with my BAR 32 machine, now it\'s fine.

it's supposed to say "expel" where the asterisks are above. don't know why the site edited this out.

Water still following from the right dispence

The coffee solenoid valve which is located on the coffee group is having a dirt which is keeping it always open and the water is direct with the mains on this valve so you have continuing water out from the group head. You have to close the water mains valve to stop this. Remove valve and clean it. Dry coffee on the valve can cause also the same problem so clean the valve.

Sid by side ice dsspencer and water dispencer(all the indicator light suddently are shut off) not working

you could have a problem with your dispenser module. a burnt pcb that could lead to all of your problems. switches not working, lights not working, dispenser not working, etc.

check your dispenser module and if you find a burnt part or a burnt PCB, then replace it.

tnx 4 using fixya,

No coffee is dispenced

Ok, If you pull out the waste water tray and bean tray, along with the brew unit ( by pushing the lever that says push) turn the brew unit upside down and you will see a layer of waste coffee grinds on a circular metal plate, just rinse it under a cold tap, dry it off and reassemble
Also you may want to try rinsing other parts of the brew unit and give it a general clean if there are any other build-ups of coffee grinds :)
