I bougth a new computer but when i was givein my sister my old computer the advent 9415 i forgot the password i tryed a few old passwords but it didnt work now when the computer loads it comes up as user name and password but i forgot all the passwords can you help me

Try rebooting it then keep tapping f10 it may let you in to reset the passwords If not you may need to check for a solution at the PC makers website..

Get your sister to contact FixYa and tell them you forgot your password and to send you a temporary, then go into your profile and change the temporary password to a new password of your choice.

You need to contact your pc manufacturer.
Tell them to provide you with the steps to remove and reseat the CMOS battery.
Then remove and reseat the CMOS battery which holds the BIOS password.
This step will remove the password.
Issue is resolved :)

the way to get rid of the bios password in the fastest way ..is to open it ..remove the keyboard..and you will get to the bios switches ..or clear bios jumpers..or just remove the battery for a few seconds..This will erase its settings and get it to default settings and will forget the password too...By the way ..never put one again ..it helps for nothing anyway ..but just inconveniences

Also you can reset the access point, by putting a paper clip into the reset hole for a few seconds. I think the default username and password is "admin"

what you mean is shes forgot it and locked you all out right.

If you mean a Windows Password, for me is imposible to help.
if the password is in the setup, you just have to remove the battery mounted in the mainboard and install it again after few seconds.( with the computer turned off)
Turn your computer on and there is no more password.
