My hp 6930p is locked & required bios password...i'm not IT savvy, so don't know how to remove the CMOS battery...is there any other way to remove the password?

After typing the password incorrectly 3 times, it should give you an error code, could you please let me know what that code is?

hi!
this is how to bypass CMOS SETUP password

*open the cover of you laptop,
*remove the cmos 3v baterry.
*remove the main battery
*push the power button for 10 sec.
*wait for 5 to 15 minutes
*put back the cmos battery and connect the main battery
turn on your computer and enter to cmos setup

I forgot my BIOS password and i can't access it becos i don't know the password.

HP Spare Key can be used to reset BIOS password. It is provided by HP Corporation. So when you forgot BIOS password on HP computer, just download it and get perfect BIOS password reset.

None of that works, security is too good. Have to go through HP or have the Bios chip reflshed or replaced
