I try to print , but the printer make a sound and dont work, after that the feed is red.
I have 2 separate TLP 2824 printers, that have this same exact behavior. If anyone knows a solution to this, I would be very interested to know!!!
How are you loading the labels in the printer?
Make sure they are secured underneath the black side guides?
The feed path should be with the end of the labels fed on top of the roll fed into the compartment. Â Once you reload the printer, press turn the printer on to reset it. Â Press the feed button to see if it is reading the gap between the label if you have that type of stock.
The other thing that could be going on is that thermal head needs to be replaced. Â There real easy to do. Â Just unlug the old one and put the new one in. Â That can cause the red light to on as well.

thanks.
I am having a similar problem. This unit is brand new. I have printed maybe 8 labels without problems. I had disconected the printer for 2 weeks. Just plugged into the same printer where originally working without prblems.
When I pressed the feed button for first time, it feeds half way and then makes a buzzing noise and get stuck. I have powered down and preformed a calibration but the same thing happens in the middle of calibration. It even is printed a very faded line on some of the labels..
