As soon as i power on goes through a test and says bad id match only sometimes it does this vey aggravating can you help

if its a gas powered engine , id be looking at the low speed /idle jets in carb , also can be a miss matched float /bowl arrangement in carb (if parts were ever changed) , a super dose of auto grade fuel system cleaner sometimes saves a ton repairing and rebuilding on these , especially on infrequent used engines that sit for long times

If you only have it since a couple of days, don't mess with it. Claim your warranty; get it changed, it is a vey Bad Buy. If they don't want to change it, at least get it repaired as soon as possible

Most common, the Module goes bad under the coil packs (4 Cyl)

Most Common the Module in the distributor goes bad, or the cap is cracked (6 cyl)

Very common the ECM goes bad, tapping on it, or slightly twisting it's frame might help it run or aggravate the condition helping in diagnosis (Non OBD, early 1995 models)'

Other things that can cause this condition include Injectors, Fuel pumps, Relays, Bad grounds, bad coolant Temperature Sensor.

Not really something you want to tackle on your own if you don't know the systems well.

You may be having what was a common problem in Malibu engines. The intake manifolds can develop coolant leaks (usually externally), normally between 70k-100k miles. Sometimes the leak goes internal and into the engine oil. Run the engine and check the dipstick. If the oil seems overly full and/or is a foamy chocolate-milk-like consistency, then you have issues that must be repaired immediately to avoid serious engine damage.

Caller ID information is sent after the first full ring. If the call is answered too soon, the caller ID information may not have been sent yet. Some of the many and varied networks do not send caller ID information. In this case you may notice that caller ID is missing only on calls from certain callers. Occasionally bad data is sent, causing your phone to reject it.

the converter lock up might be stuck on. need a mechanic to disconect it.

The 6 inverter transformers on the bottom of the picture is the problem and what need to be tested.
Unplug the 6 wires that goes to the LCD screen. Use a multimeter to test for resistance from each output plug on the board. The one without the resistance is the bad one.
If this doesn't locate the bad one this way, Each plug should give out DC voltage if working properly. Test each plug for voltage.
The TV will automatically turn off in a couple of seconds like before. You'll have to keep pushing the power button to test each output plug for voltage.

Soon as you find the bad Inverter Transformer, just solder in a new one and the TV should work fine after that.

open it up... whats the worst that could happen... see if the caps are fine... if they are bloated exchange them... if you need help doing so hit me up at abelino24(at)sbcglobal(.)net... I've repaired like three of these in the past few months.. its always the capacitors. they either get really hot and bloat or don't function if it gets too cold... so the solution if to get the right caps at 470uf / 25v and 220uf / 25v... hopes this helps...

The convergence IC first need to be changed and this might cause all of your problems to go away. if it does not then theres a bad capacitor in the sweep power supply thats bad also. but as I said change out both STK convergence IC's first.
