Came home to a flooded kitchen, had put an uneven load in. Water continuing to fill the machine yet error h20 on the led. Eptied water out. Turned off machine at mains. put more washing in and turned machine on. As the water came into the machine the error h20 display came again and just started to fill the machine. Water drains out ok when cancel button is pressed, but no more cycle takes place. The machine computer is stuck on this error, not believing that the water is coming in, but it is. have checked water pipe not kinked, water pressure is good and its definitely coming into the machine. Please help
cycle ends perfectly. i go to the machine next day to put load in and there is water (clean) in the base fo the drum, the longer i leave it the more it fills.cycle ends perfectly. i go to the machine next day to put load in and there is water (clean) in the base fo the drum, the longer i leave it the more it fills.

Have recently had thew H2O error on my Hotpoint washer. Machine switched an and cycle starts then H2O error appears on display. However water is flowing freely into machine. Water keeps flowing into the drum with the error code showing, but cycle doesn't continue. To confirm water supply ok and filter not blocked water inlet pipe removed and filter checked all ok. Also checked drain hose and pipework to drain all clear. Water gets to half way up drum and would have continued but I manually cancelled the programme. Programme changed to pump out the water all works ok, spin cycle also ok. Problem suspected with the fill valve, so removed top of machine for further inspection (power turned off first). Found that the small plastic pipe from the drum to the fill valve had come off the connection at the bottom of the valve. Replaced the pipe and made sure the clip was holding it secure. Machine put into wash programme again all worked ok. I suspect the small pipe that was detached from the fill valve detects the rise in pressure as the drum fills, which in turn signals that water is in the drum. With the pipe off this doesn't occur so water continues to pump into the machine. H2O error is listed as no water present, however in this case water was present but the pipe being off the signal to confirm presence of water was not enabled. Hope this is of some help to those who have had or are having this problemHave recently had thew H2O error on my Hotpoint washer. H20 is a water warning. The machine THINKS it has no water coming in (Hence it continues to fill and fill because it can''t see the water). 99% of the time, this is a blocked rubber pipe that goes to the pressure sensor. Water in the drum fills the bottom of the rubber pipe and as the water rises, the air pressure in the pipe increases, which operates a bellows device in the pressure sensor. If the pipe is blocked, the pressure sensor won't operate and it will continue to try to fill until it times out. There COULD be a wire off the sensor or a wire that goes to the sensor loose on the main board, there could even be a failed component on the main board, but all of these scenarios are ar less likely than a blocked pressure sensor pipe. Take the lid off, pull the pipe off the bottom of the sensor, blow down it hard and this may well clear the blockage. Put the pipe back on the sensor and test. Come back if you need more advice
Your washer has a bad water valve or fill censor telling machine need more water then to much water sends a flood warning shuts down so will not flood your home look for small clear tube coming from tub to a type control hose may just came off
I noticed the washed dose this if I run a bath sounds daft but it's like it's not getting enough water feed whilst I'm using water else where and once my bath turns off error message goes away
Check tube to water pressure switch. The wall of the rubber tube on my machine had worn through due to friction. Taped it up to make sure this was the problem. No H2O code and machine working!
The error indicates a problem with the incoming water supply.
Check for restricted or kinked inlet hose/s, check that tap/s are fully turned on and that you have adequate water pressure.
H20 indicates incoming water supply problem.
Check that the water is fully turned on.
Check the inlet hose/s for kinks or restriction.
Make sure there is a good pressure of water to washer.
According to the Hotpoint error code list H20 indicates to check taps and pressure of incoming water..
So make sure you have adequate pressure of water at the valves, low hot water pressure can cause problems..
Also what I would do would be to check the filter located in the sump hose at the rear of the m/c,\this can leade to a sticking water level s/w..
Hope this helps.
Plz leave feedback.
Thanks.
the machine is sensing a flood you need to get it dryed out remove the front panel and dry out the bottom plate then press pause/cancel twice to clear Fault
Are you on a well? Often people with a lot of sediment in water get sick of the screens in water valve plugging up so they remove them. NEVER remove these screens. If any sediment gets into valve it can hold it open causing flooding.
If you unplug unit and water still comes in you must replace valve.
