Does it play a cd? If so than the decoder for the dvd portion of the head unit may be bad. I would replace it if that's the case.

Possibly the battery is dead in the control unit. When the memory is lost, free play is too. You will need to locate and replace the battery, then re-program. For that you will most likely need the manual. You will have no problem finding a manual on line.

The only option go online to Samsung and contact customer support and technical department to see if one is available, also check www.ebay.com Type: make and model refine research to remote.

Just clean the CD lens unit, by inserting a cleaning disc into the CD drive and play it at least three times. If this does not help you, the laser pickup assmebley needs replacement. The lesns cleaning disc an be bought from most of the electronic spare part selling shops at your town, and won't cost more. OK.

Your radio will need a code to reactive it because the power has been lost.

You need to post up the serial and part number of the radio - found on a label at the back so you will need to remove the radio from the dash to find this.

Make and model of radio and car also required. Then we can advise further.

Something is wrong..crbr799 your DVD-TV has a TV-DVD button on the right front to switch from TV to DVD play...OPEN button on left side ,place DVD in tray, close & press PLAY...
I something simulator that needs the remote control for the SPECIAL functions....by the way the ORIGINAL r\c is $135 to $155, a replacement ($35) will turn the TV\DVD on ( which you can do without the r\c) and NOT function with anything else.
P.S. they will try to sell you universal r\c that work with the CABLE boxes, the ones that you pay a monthly fee!!

You probably will need to replace the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) in your laptop. Go to Google and search for "Dell Inspirion 6000 CD/DVD drive" to find a replacement.
To be sure it's the CD/DVD drive that's defective and not your operating system software, you could also try to boot from a boot-able DVD disk.

Not much you can do without a remote for this model except play 1 disc (CD or DVD) manually at a time. You could try to obtain a replacement of the original remote directly from Panasonic, or you can look again for your lost one in your home, or you can try a (cheaper) universal remote with this unit. The cost depends on what type of remote you get and where you buy it from (if you order through Panasonic there may be an additional shipping charge). Sequential play (one disc after the other automatically) usually can only be set using the remote.

The fact is, this player needs a remote for full functionality If you want random/sequential play for multi discs, the original Panasonic remote is required - try ordering this first if it is available. If not, then consider a universal. (you could also look on eBay for a similar DVD player remote for this model)

Your cd player is fubar and in definite need of replacement.
Tape unit seems to have a mind of its won. Try to reset the electronics to factory defaults. If that has no remedy, since it is a sony< best advise is to trash it. Repair cost is prohibitively expensive.
