Usually this is due to a hose that has gotten too close to the heater. You'll have to take the cover off the machine, and replace one of the hoses.

My washing is dry after wash cycle

Is there a leak under the washing machine? Are the water lines open? Have you verified that the water to the house is not cut off?
How about the shut-off valves to the hoses that connect to the washer, are they open?

SAMSUNG MODEL DV218AEB/XAC LEAKING WATER

Dryers don't use water, washing machines do, so it's probably the washer.

If the dryer is drying, then it's not moisture.

Check the house drain for the washer, watch it drain and make sure it's not backing up, check the drain hose.

HiTo all iv been having problems with my dishwasher its a indesit aaa class idf 125 it keeps turning its self off then there is no power at all iv now had it off fr 3jd mounths and now its working again...

Could be anything but check your water heater element first - prime cause of power tripping. Also check for leaks from the sump into the wash motor / electrics etc Usually manifests as fills, runs for a bit then cuts out as leak starts. Be very careful with electrical safety on this one - water and electricity are a deadly combination. ensure the power if off, and machine unplugged before examining. test for safety after the repair.

Washer leaking water while spinning

Check the drain hose where it leaves the machine, if the square section of it is not in the plastic housing it will cut on the cabinet, if this has happened replace the hose they are difficult to repair, Other possibilities, pump is leaking, and check that the inlet hoses are not leaking and have washers in every connection.

My admiral leaks as soon as the water turns on, it appears to be coming out of the housing unit for the hoses rather then the tub or the hoses.

There are a few places that a washer could be leaking:

1) the water valve itself, it may be cracked (most are plastic), or the hose connecting it to the spout may be loose.

2) the hose from the water valve to the spout (as above) could be loose from spout or water valve. It also may be cracked or have a cut in it from wear on other parts.

3) the spout may be damaged or loose from the back plate making it misaligned so the water spills over the side of the tub.

4) the washtub may be missing a spring that keeps it centered in the machine causing the fill spout to spray water over the side of the washtub.

5) There may be a leak in the tub, pump, hoses for the pump (not likely since when it leaks)

That's all that there is to leak when it does not leak all the time. (if it were all the time you could throw the supply hoses and valves in the mix.

Hope that helps

About a minute after I put the machine on it cuts all my electricity in the house and I hten need to go and flip the switch back on from the mains in the house. why is this happening?

Hmmmm... About a minute sounds about the time that it takes before the machine switches the water inlet valve open and lets water into the drum. I'm guessing that you either have a crack in one of the pipes that is taking water from the valve to the drum, and it is spraying water onto something electrical inside the machine that it shouldn't, or the valve its self is faulty.

DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS, then take the top off the machine. Take a look inside and check if you can see water anywhere. Check the pipes from the valve to the drum for leaks. If you find one, get it replaced. Just remember here, washing machines are not the safest appliances on the planet. Water and electricity do not go well together, do everything with the power off and the appliance unplugged. When you plug back in, make sure that teh inside of the machine has been dried thoroughly first and taht you are not in contact with the chassis, just in case. If you don't know what you are doing and you don't feel competent or confident, just don't do it. The machine can be repaired or replaced by someone else. You cannot!

Water leaking from bottom of machine onto floor during fill and wash cycle

there are 3 bolts are bottom front compartment, may be taken off with a phillip screwdriver, or it may be a torx. when you take it off, cut your washer on and see where it is leaking, your gasket could be broken, your hoses or pump.

Water heater problem (no leak on floor)

shut off the power to the hot water heater wait 5 to 15 min. If the noise stops it is the water heater eating up electricity. Turn it back on if noise starts again feel about 5 or so feet down the hot water line. If this line is hot you have a leak beyond the hot water heater. If you still hear it when the power is off to the water heater. next turn the water off on the cold water line at the water heater with the power off also Look at the water meter and see if the hand or wheel on the meter is moving and it should no be. Also think if the breaker to the hot water is off the electric meter should practically stop if no refrig oe anything else on. Have someone watch the electric meter and switch 1 breaker at a time leaving the one you just shut off in the off position until you cut them all off. Should the meter still be moving you have a main service cable shorting somewhere call the power company to advise you further if this is the problem.. Should just cutting the circuit breaker for the hot water heater stop the noise and down the hot water line is not hot then you are probably wasting power due to a thermostat or element inside the hot water heater.. Thank you j

My dishwasher when switched on keeps throwing the trip switch

i had this probem and apparently there's a 'float switch' in the bottom of the machine. This switch is a safety cut off and when activated can not just stop the machine but trip the electrics in the house. the reason for it activating is when food clogs up the drainage bit water can not drain and fills up the bottom of the machine. this then activates the 'float switch' as a kind of safety cut off.
the way to sort it is to disconect the machine from the mains and drain and water. empty the clogged up food from the drain bit. then tip the machine back and a load of water will pour out (may need a load of towels for this bit or take the machine out the back and do it)
once this is done, plug it all back in and give it a try - works for my machine, good luck.
