Refrigerator sub zero 736 TC water leaking under vegetable drawer

Usually from plugged evaporator drain tube.

remove all the drawers and unscrew the frame that holds the drawers. Free the the drain tube (need to unscrew the clamps that hold the tube to the back wall). Pull it up from the bottom hole where it drains into the pan and free it from the top drain pan. Most likely it\'s plugged with crap and fungus and yecchy stuff. Clean it out and reinstall it.

Im getting water under the vegetable drawer inside my LG refrigerator..what can i do?

Hi boris_sal495,

There are two things that you can check if you are getting water under the vegetable drawer. Kindly refer on the details below:

Reminder:Before doing any checking or repair unplug the refrigerator from power and remember your safety.

1. Clear the Drain Tube - Your refrigerator has a drain that leads to the exterior drain pan beneath the refrigerator. Occasionally this drain can become clogged resulting in standing water inside your refrigerator. The drain is located either on the floor of the refrigerator, beneath the vegetable crisper, or in the wall behind a drain funnel.
Clear the drain by forcing a solution of water and bleach or water and baking soda into it with a basting syringe. If the solution will not flow through, slide a length of 1/4 inch or smaller flexible tubing into the drain tube to push the clog through to the drain pan. Remove the tubing after clearing the clog.

2. Leveling a Refrigerator - It is important for the refrigerator to be level.Check that the refrigerator is level from side to side.If it is not level, adjust one or more of the adjustable leveling feet until it is level. The feet are bolts that can be turned to raise or lower the refrigerator. If they cannot be adjusted with your fingers, use a crescent wrench or pliers.
If you have an ice-maker, it should also be checked for level after first leveling the refrigerator. An icemaker that is out of level will spill water into the ice bin or into the freezer. It can be repositioned by loosening the mounting screws, adjusting it for level and then tighten the screws.

Hope it helps.

Model CTX18GAZBRWW - (Hotpoint) no-frost - freezer on top Water collects under the vegetable drawers and must be removed every day.

Something to try....on the back wall of the fridge nearer to the top is a little cup like part sticking out. There is water in it but it usually runs down an attached tube inside back wall and ends up under the fridge and gets evaporated. If that tube or the little cup thing is plugged then it will drip in the fridge and collect on the inside bottom of the fridge. So the trick is to clean them out. Check it out ...may solve the problem.

My refrigerator is collecting water under the vegetable drawers

The defrost water is supposed to go into a drain hole below the evaporation coils. The hole is clogged and the water goes down the back side of the refrigerator to the bottom. Seen it. You gotta clean out that drain hole. Shop vac works great.

Collecting water at bottom of frig inside under drawers.

begin by removing the grill on the front at floor level. look under there and you will see the evaporation pan. next pull the fridge out from the wall so you can get behind it. there you will see the tube. to unclog it you will have to disconnect it at the top and force hot water into it using a turkey baster.

Water collecting under crisper drawers.

When the refrigerator goes into defrost mode there is a drain tube that allows water melted off the evaporator coil to go into the drain pan that you found empty. That drain tube is clogged.

Refrigerator collects water at bottom, under the vegetable/crisper drawers, needing to be sponged out daily This fridge is a 17.7 cubic ft. no frost TBX18BG

at the top of the fridge section at the center back there is a drain assy/ tube for defrost water to exit the unit and go to the bottom of the outside, this is most likely clogged up. disassemble and clear drain line, hook back up and call me in the morning.

Sub-Zero 550 water leak and freezing

Seems to be a common problem with these units. You can get a drain tube heater ( got mine from an online refrigerator parts distributor), though may not totally solve problem. Some suggest running a copper wire through tube - supposed to conduct just enough heat to keep tube from freezing.
