[2] Point the remote control towards the
television

[3] Press and hold the TV POWER button, and

then enter the two-figure code in the table

to the right that corresponds to the brand of

your television by pressing the appropriate

number buttons.

If your television is compatible with the remote

control, it will switch off.

The remote is now programmed to operate
the TV.

Sometimes uses 305 codes, or 340, but from the manuals, get the generic codes.

Sometimes it is the cable, has to make sure is well pressed, second, cauld be a bad TV power assemble inside. RMS, required. third, some models has two power buttons one is below or side unit, and the other is on the remote , or front /side panel of the TV.

If the Vizio logo(power indicator) isn't coming on when the set is plugged in, most likely you have a issue with the power supply. Your standby power supply isn't working, and without it, you will have a dead set.

If its something your comforrtable doing remove the back cover and test the power supply voltages, I think you will find at least one is missing, and in that case replace the power board

I would return the Set ASAP! TV has a factory defect,take it back and get you another TV,
and If it happens to do the Same thing Then Company might have more then several TVs that must be returned to Factory.
I had a Friend of mine who bought a new Tv got it home it had a problem she took back 3 TVs and they all where doing the same thing.She just got her money back and went to another store.
But they did Offer Her Another Set from company.

Need vizio code for Samsung remote!!
I have a 37 inch vizio and had the same problem. After a little web research, I came across a suggestion that the LG codes might work. I tried it and found that the code 19 worked. You might try that. If 19 doesn't work for you, one of the other LG codes might (they are 06, 21, 22, 23 or 78).
