Welcome to Fixya

The wireless switch is located either on the side of the laptop or infront. You will see an embossed image of a wireless network which means that the switch is at the ON position. You can alse enable and disable the adapter by pressing the F key (F1, F2 etc) that has a picture of a tower that has a wireless signal together with Fn key. On my laptop its Fn + F8.

Thinkpad T61 in not use bluetooth

Hi, If you are having issues with your Bluetooth on the T61, you can try to check the Wireless/Bluetooth switch on the computer. then Try Pressing Fn+F5 on the keyboard to show if the Bluetooth is on or not. If it only shows Wireless, that on ly means that you don 't have any bluetooth on the computer.

How to turn on wireless on Lenovo T61 laptop?

I checked the manufacturer's web-site:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?brandind=10&familyind=374625&machineind=0&operatingsystemind=49979&template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FdownloadsDriversLandingPage.vm&validate=true

but did not find any device-driver for the wireless-adapter for your Operating System.

This might imply that the wireless-adapter is fully supported by the Operating System, i.e., no additional device-driver is needed.

Open the "Network Connections" window, and display all the currently-defined network-adapters -- the wireless adapter should be present. Select it, and right-mouse click on its icon, and choose "enable".

Wireless connnection with my levovo T61 is no longer working.

On many laptops there is a very small dwitch (usually a small slide switch along the front edge) for turning on and off the wireless so that you can keep it private in public areas. Look for it - the light will come on if you find the right one.

Wireless connection

You may have a physical switch on your laptop.
The following says that it may be hard to find but have a look at the front left edge of the casing.
