Plug the cable from the phone to computer.
You should get a pop up on the phone asking what you want to do. Select "Disk Drive"

If it is an HTC Droid Incredible 2 you can unlock it as it is a dual mode CDMA/GSM phone. You can unlock your HTC Droid Incredible 2 from Verizon in order to work with any GSM network. You have the entire guide here:
Unfortunately i don't know a free unlock code source but the HTC unlock service i recommended to you is a trusted one, have small prices and good support. I use it also to unlock my HTC EVO Design 4G a dual CDMA/GSM also.
To transfer files from your computer to your phone's storage card, you need to set the phone's storage card as a USB drive. Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable, and then choose Disk drive from the on-screen menu that appears. The storage card is now mounted as a USB drive. Drag and drop the desired files to your PC to back them up.
