Transfer phone numbers

If you haven't cut your SIM card for iPhone yet, you can take advantage of the SIM card to transfer contacts from Motorola to iPhone. You need to go to your Contacts app and choose Export Contacts to SIM. Then the contacts can be transferred to the SIM card. Now you can cut the card and install it in iPhone, and go to Settings > Mails, Contacts, Calendars, and scroll down to find Import SIM Card Contacts. Now you are able to import the contacts from SIM card to your iPhone.

Another method is using Gmail. Android users can take advantage of Gmail (or other emails provide contacts sync function) to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone. The following tutorial will show you how to do it:

1. Log in Gmail on your Android phone, and check the "Sync Contacts" option (If you are first time to use this method.
2. After Gmail Contacts synced with your Android Contacts, you should turn to iPhone, and tap Settings > Mails, Contacts, Calendars, and tap Add Account. Then choose Google, and enter your Gmail account.
3. After adding Google Account, you can turn on Contacts, and iPhone will ask whether you want to merge with your iPhone contacts. Click Yes and the contacts will be synced to your iPhone.

With the sync function of Gmail, people are able to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone with ease. If you aren't using Gmail on your iPhone, don't worry, you can take advantage of other email services like Yahoo, Outlook and so on.
You can also take advantage of the third-party iPhone transfer software to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone directly. Among all the iPhone transfer programs, iTransfer is regarded one of the best.

Hi, issues like this are related to your Sim card (network),
not your Cell Phone . In most cases, regarding the text messages,
the problem is from the Service Operator. Have you tried the Sim card on another phone? If not,
remove the Sim card, insert it on another phone and try sending a message from another mobile to you number,
or you can do it in vise- versa by inserting another Sim card on your mobile.

If you can't receive text messages even when it's inserted on another handset,
then you will need to call the customer care of your Network Operator and tell
them your problem, they will help you fix it immediately.

You can check the message center number, but I don't think
it's very much important in your case, well, if you wanna try,
just check the text message settings and verify that the message
center number (which is currently in use) is the same number which
is on another phone with the same network (the other Sim should be
of the same network in your area). If it's different, make the changes
and save the settings. Also disable the "Receive Via" or similar settings..
(I can't recollect the exact settings as i don't have the same model with
me, please excuse me for this.).

If the same Sim card doesn't receive text messages using another handset,
don't bother to change the settings or to make any changes with it,
first call the customer care and verify from them, you may make mistakes instead of fixing it.

hi, i think your phone is suffering from low memory, i guess you have alot of things on the phone. try delete some applications you downloaded to free the phone space and memory space..

There are several ways you can send music from your computer to your new phone.

You could use your phone cable, or a memory card reader, or transferring via bluetooth, or using a pC suite. It all depends on which method you find convenient to use.

The sim card stores around 250 numbers rest go to the phone, depending on settings all might go into the sim card or to the phone instead. try the sim card on another phone first and see if you can get the numbers off from it.

if they are on the phone, you need a datacable and the software on your computer. if the phone works you should be able to turn it on, enter your pin code when asked etc and then use the computer program to get the numbers from the phone, I think that motorola software cd comes with the cable should have everything you need.

Hey try to connect the phone to the USB cable that came with it & your computer. Make sure that it is completely charged in any case first though you may have forgot to charge it.

Do you have some of your contacts on the SIM and some on phone memory? I have used the MPT software for many years and never had any trouble but if you have contacts in both places you might need to adjust the options to view both.

it would be best to try a master reset of the phone then try again or contact your mobile provider for further assistance...

what you can do is buy a connector kit from a mototola place and connect it with your computer, then you will be able to see all the numbers on your phone, you will have to maybe manualy transfer the numbers but at least you will have the numbers
