If you need the PUK ( Personal Unblocking Key ) for your phone, you will have to contact your mobile phone service provider.
PUK code is related to the SIM card you are using and not the phone. So, kindly call the Customer support of your mobile service provider and they will provide you with the PUK code fre of charge.
Also, entering a wrong PUK code ten times in a row disables the SIM card permanently. So, please be careful while entering the PUK code.

Are you using the same cell provider? Example: Cingular phone and Cingular Sim Card. Because you can't use say a T-Mobile phone and Cingular Sim Card. Don't really know a solution just thought maybe this might help.

You phone is locked to the network of that SIM or commonly mentioned "not open line" thats why the software or the phone doesn't recognizes the SIM you are using because it is locked. To solve this problem you may go to your network provider and ask for assistance of opening the line of your phone so that you can use any sim cards you wanted. and your phone will now be unlock or "openline".Thats all friend hope i helped you good luck
