I have a Grohe Freehander shower head(1) . The head(2) closest to the pivot has decent volume, the other head only trickles. Even when #l is on off position, #2 will still trickle , even on spray position. Also, I want to note, I cleaned all orifices on both shower heads....help!

SOURCE: water just trickles

Do you have stop valves that are built into the faucet body? Some newer faucets have stops built into the unit on each side of the manifold. Make sure they are open. If you don't, then remove the guts from the manifold body and have someone turn the water on slowly to make sure you don't have something clogged. Also depending on the style have cartridge like guts and can be put in upside down. I'm not sure what you have and I wouldn't know even if you gave me the model number. If this fails, you need to contact the manufacturer. They usually have an 800 number that you can call. Good luck!

SOURCE: water just trickles out

Some of the new units have stops installed on the valve itself. Make sure they are open.

SOURCE: leak where Grohe shower head attached to the threaded pipe

using a pair of vice grips wrapped in a soft towel( to prevent scractching) turn the shower head in a counter clockwise direction to remove it then apply liquid teflon (real-tuf) to the threads on the shower arm and tighten the shower head but dont over tighten it liquid teflon is more effective at sealing leaks than teflon tape and it can be wiped clean

I can't get shower head pressure from the outer head of my new grohe freehander.

Everything you installed new. Please chack if not one of the gaskets came in a pipe or a line. I once had a rubber ring almost complete blocking the water flow.

I have a Grohe Freehander. One of the shower heads has hardly any water coming out. The other shower head has good water pressure. I have sprayed CLR on the shower head but it doesn't appear to have...

Try soaking it in vinegar...this will help break some things that CLR will not. Soak it for five minutes, then rinse, and try again. It will help a lot...rate if it helps!

Freehander leaks at shower heads

Hi

Thank you for your query

If you just grab the showerhead with one hand and then unscrew anticlockwise the pipe underneath it should just screw off, once this has been done simply replace the O ring and rescrew

I hope this has been useful

Flow of water thru shower head is barely a trickle

There is a chance there is mineral deposits in the showerhead openings. You can try products sucha as limeaway by unscrewing the showerhead , soaking in the limeaway for a few minutes and rinsing with water. You may have to repeat this a few times to get it clean.

I have a Grohe shower head that leaks buckets (not an exaggeration). We bought the parts that we were advised to buy from Grohe, but even the professional plumber couldn't stop the leak or install the new...

sounds like you need volume controls lots of grohe fittings are strictly mixing valves not shut offs if this valve use to work then you need to find plumber familiar with grohe
