Hey everyone.

i have read a couple of threads i have found on the internet and i have tested this on my samsung sgh-c450 locked to telstra. no computer is needed (or cable). i hope this helps anyone with a samsung. WARNING: ALL CONTACTS AND OTHER SETTINGS MAY BE LOST DURING THIS PROCESS!!!

Method:
Before you start, make sure the battery is charged and all security codes or PIN codes or watever are disabled so we dont have any code prompts interfering with this method.

1. Turn off the mobile phone.
2. Insert a "Non-accepted" SIM card (sim card that wont work) half way in so that when you turn on the phone, it still says "Insert SIM".
3. Turn on the phone.
4. Aant. Harry----- punt 4 is vervallen ivm met het verwijderen van de emei-code.
5. Once reset has completed, the phone will still say "Insert SIM". This is where you need to push the sim card all the way in. You can use a paperclip or a tiny object to push it in if you have difficulty. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE PHONE REMAINS ON AT THIS STAGE (TRY NOT TO LET BATTERY FALL OUT) IF BATTERY FALLS OUT, DO NOT PANIC, JUST START FROM STEP 2 AGAIN.
6. Enter the following code and wait patiently for phone to reset:

*2767*3855#

7. After reset is completed, SIM should work and also the reception. Don't get excited, its not unlocked yet.
8. Now we want to make it permanent. First check what locks need to be deactivated with the following code:

*#7465625#

Aantekening Harry: Om de codes in te voeren moet je een keer op de rode toets (naast C) drukken, zodat je in het beginscherm komt. Dan kun je codes intoetsen. Dus geen codes intoetsen als je in het keuzemenu zit.
===============================================================
------------------------------------------------------------------------
a)
If Network Lock is "Active", put in the following code:

*7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
Message should be "Network Lock has been personalised" or similar.
Then:

#7465625*638*00000000#
Message should be "Network Lock deactivated" or similar.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
b)
If Subset Lock is "Active", put in the following code:

*7465625*782*00000000*00000000#
Message should be "Subset Lock has been personalised" or similar.
Then:

#7465625*782*00000000#
Message should be "Subset Lock deactivated" or similar.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
c)
If SP Lock is "Active", put in the following code:

*7465625*77*00000000*00000000#
Message should be "SP Lock has been personalised" or similar.
Then:

#7465625*77*00000000#
Message should be "SP Lock deactivated" or similar.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
d)
If CP Lock is "Active", put in the following code:

*7465625*27*00000000*00000000#
Message should be "CP Lock has been personalised" or similar.
Then:

#7465625*27*00000000#
Message should be "CP Lock deactivated" or similar.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
e)
If SIM Lock is "Active", put in the following code:

*7465625*746*00000000*00000000#
Message should be "SIM Lock has been personalised" or similar.
Then:

#7465625*746*00000000#
Message should be "SIM Lock deactivated" or similar.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"a)" is the common one that usually is the only one need to be done but if other locks are active, i think its best to disable them now while you have the chance.

Now you have unlocked your phone!

Tested on:
SGH-C450

Please test this!

Thank You.

My mobile asking mobile pin no. but i forget my no? what can i do? please help me

Hi,
If you for got the pin number of your phone most probably it would lead to PUK lock if you attempt to put pin number at least 3 times.
So i would strongly suggest to call your service provide to unlock PUK, (they wil just give you a code to reset the pin) This will give you an option again to create a new security code or PIN.
Please refer below for some information:
  • PIN CodePersonal Identification Number), is the password for your simcard. You can choose to set the pin code request at each switch on of your mobile or whenever there is a change in simcard depending on your mobile functioning.
  • PUK Code is the code requested by your sim card whenever you have enter wrong password for more than three times. The PUK code can be only provided by your supplier.

I put my pin code in wrong and the fone is asking me for my puk code

PUK Code is your Personal Unblocking Key for your simcard. Very common with GSM phones provided by Tmobile or AT&T and formerly Cingular Wireless to name a few. This code is to be used when you've forgotten your Personal Identification Number or PIN to unlock your device.

If you've already tried the wrong code more than 10 times you need to bring your phone to the cellphone store and request a (Re-Flash) of your simcard, or possibly just get a new simcard. You also may want to make sure u never store your contacts on the simcard again if you've experienced this problem before.

Luckily if you take your cellphone to the store most places have a UME device (Universal Memory Exchanger) that should be able to pull the contacts from your sim if they are in there. Otherwise simply exchange your sim card and you'll be fine.

Hope this helps,

Marty

PUK code (0 left) - Need Code

Hi,it is your sim card which is blocked as you have entered the pin code wrongly 3 times,

It is easily solved by contacting the network provider of your sim and requesting the PUK code for which there should be no charge,

Some networks will have this service available online if your check on their website, you put in your mobile phone number and it will generate the PUK code,

If you are unable to find it on their site you can ring them and they wll be able to assist you with it,

Do not try guessing random codes as after failed attempts at inputting the wrong PUK your simcard will be permanently blocked and need replaced,

Just noticing you say in your question (0 left),is this referring to no attempts left? Have you already tried 10 times to guess the PUK?

If this is the case your simcard is now useless, but your phone is fine,it will work with another simcard,

If it is important that you have the same mobile number you will have to request a new simcard from your provider and they may charge for this
