Whenever i try to copy videos my mp4 player walkman NWZ S638F is at first working for like 3 seconds, then it says that the device has been disconnected or it is frozen or something like that. And it can not decide(keeps changing every 2 seconds) to show text on screen if it is just connected or do not disconnect.Also the videos are in the right format!

I have a sony k810 i and im trying to add a video but it always tells me to change to mp4 format which is already the format of the video. what should i do?and i want to download mpeg 4 in to my mobile so u plz suggest me.

hi mine freezes too when i try to open my photos on the walkman. but mine did work using the reset button, you might want to return it if you have receipt, if not you still got 1 year warranty with sony.you can also try connecting the player to the computer to see if it turns on and charges. thanx

SOURCE: My Laptop wont recognize my mp3 player Sony walkman NWZ-E438FBLK

Was having the same problem. All I did was plug it into my usb port in my laptop, made sure HOLD wasn't on, and then hit the reset button. A few seconds later my computer recognized it. All the songs and everything I had on there previously are still all there. Hope this helps. :)

first off when downloading stuff to sony mp3 i have the same one you have to manual transfer also what kind of computer do you have. that would help me help you.if you have a mac then i cant but pc i can. Here is what i do first open computer icon, then click on on ur device it should open with how much free space is left then click it again a bunch of folders will open up. the drag the file you want to the correct folder. thats how i have to put vids and music on it espcial if you want acc file formate music.also what type of file is it music vid of docement. plz tell me then i can better under stand ur request.

I can't get videos onto my Walkman. They are in .mp4 format and i've tried copying them over and using Content Transfer to copy them over but they the Walkman still says they're an unsupported format.

The Video files must be MP4, or WMV with a resolution of 240x320 or less

I think ur MP4 file is in wrong resolution for sony walkman, you could try this Daniusoft video covnerter, It is already optimized for output setting for sony walkman ... easy-to-use.

NWZ-E348F Video Problem

Hello,

Assuming that you mean the NWZ-E438F model, when using the Media
Manager for Walkman, it has no conversion tool.

For transferring video the Content Transfer software should be used
and installed first.
