go to Dewaltservicenet.com and type in your model number and it willl ask for the type number and you can download a manual and also a breakdown for this tool. they also have a locator for local vendors who carry their product.
sears.com go to toolsthem go to manuels and then downloads. then add your model number or the root model number for jointers like yours and you can get the free downloal, as long as the machine isn't older that the age of computers 1975 or about.

May sound a little stupid im just trying to cover all bases but have you made sure the car is unlocked. If the car is locked then the fuel door will be locked.
