Adobe flash version needed for Celeron 847?

There is no Adobe Flash version specific to this processor. Just download the most recent version available at http://www.adobe.com (click on "Menu" --> "Flash Player", the proper version for your operating system and language will be selected automatically).
You may want to uncheck the optional software offers (alternative browsers, plug-ins or browser search bars).

Disable pdf viewer

Google Chrome contains an integrated PDF viewer, which may have problems displaying some Portable Document Format files. You can bypass or disable this PDF viewer to get around display problems with your PDF documents by viewing them with Adobe Reader. If the Adobe Reader plug-in isn't working properly, it may be incorrectly configured or its files may be corrupt.

Integrated PDF When you click a link to a PDF link on a Web page, Google Chrome opens the PDF in its integrated PDF viewer instead of the Adobe Reader plug-in. Chrome's PDF viewer doesn't contain many advanced features, so you can click "Yes" to the "Parts of this PDF document could not be displayed. Open in Adobe Reader?" bar that appears at the top of the PDF document to view it in Adobe Reader. b> Disabling Integrated PDF b> If you frequently open PDF documents that Google Chrome has problems displaying, you can disable the integrated PDF viewer to bypass it and always open PDFs with Adobe Reader. Type "About:plugins" into Google Chrome's address bar and press "Enter" to open the plug-ins management page. Click the "Disable" link under Chrome PDF Viewer on the plug-ins page to disable it. b> Updates b> Problems with PDF display may be fixed in newer versions of Google Chrome or Adobe Reader. You can check for updates to Google Chrome by clicking the wrench menu, and selecting "About Google Chrome." Chrome checks for new versions and displays version information at the bottom of the About window. You can update Adobe Reader by clicking "Start," selecting "All Programs," clicking the "Adobe Reader" shortcut, clicking the "Help" menu at the top of the Adobe Reader window and selecting "Check for Updates." b> Reader Settings b> Adobe Reader only displays PDFs in Google Chrome and other Web browsers if the Display PDF in Browser option is enabled. You can enable it from the preferences window in Adobe Reader. Open it by clicking the "Edit" menu, selecting "Preferences" and clicking the "Internet" category at the left side of the preferences window. Click the "Display PDF in Browser" check box to enable it if it's disabled and click "OK." b> Reader Problems b> Problems displaying PDFs may be caused by having multiple versions of Adobe Reader installed. Examine your list of installed programs and uninstall old versions of Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat if you have multiple versions installed. Open the Uninstall Programs window by clicking "Start," clicking "Control Panel" and selecting "Uninstall a Program." You can also click the "Help" menu in Adobe Reader and select "Repair Adobe Reader Installation" to repair any problems with your Adobe Reader installation.

I want to instal google home page

For Internet Explorer 6, launch internet explorer and go to menu bar-> tools-> Internet Options. In the first tab, you will get a text box in the top. Enter www.google.com there and press Ok button at the bottom of the window. You are done.

To launch internet options in internet explorer version 7 and version 8, the menu bar has to be shown. If you can see the menu bar, follow the same steps as mentioned above. If menu bar is not shown, let me know, I'll help you.

I publish a veterans newsletter on Adobe Pagemaker 6.0 Problems: lost page boxes & scale at bottom of page and can't restore same. Also, can't just click there and go to another page - have to go above and...

Thank you for your service! And thanks for the effort to produce a newsletter.

I haven't used Pagemaker for a while, but let's give it a try. On the menu bar at the top of the PM Window you should see File, Exit and so on. Look for View or Options. Check each of the drop down menus to see if there is a STATUS BAR option. That's what the bottom bar is normally called. It may be as easy as checking it so tht it shows. You may need to look through the menus for another 'options' sub menu to find it. The Adobe search wasn't very helpful on this topic.

Please let me know what you find.

Office 2007 professional and Adobe 8 Professional problem

Very simple fix. Now and then after an Adobe Acrobat update Office will disable Adobe Acrobat as it is an add on. All you need to do is re-enable Adobe Acrobat. In Office 2007 goto Word Options, Add-ons, and at the bottom of the page is Manage. Click on the down arrow and select Disabled Items and click on GO. Re-enable Acrobat and you should be fine. In Office 2003, goto Help and selects disabled macros and re-enabler Acrobat.
