it may be that the Solid State Speed Control has gone bad did any smoke or bad odors come out of the mixers but if you have any warranty period left then they will gladly fix it

The Converter would need a set of Composite (also called RCA inputs, yellow/red/white) inputs on the back, then it would just be a matter of changing the video source on the converter...

However, seeing as how there would be no additional benefit to hooking up a game console or DVD player through the converter to the TV, I'm not sure why you'd want to in the first place...

if you are going to continue using the rooftop antenna, then you will nee to purchase a digital converter box. Those television sets are only analog. You do have an option to get Directv or Dish network and you will not need a converter box at all. Directv and Dish network are 100% Digital and the receivers work as converter boxes for that product only.

send the tv to autoprogram
if your HD channels are available in your tv. Then you dont need a converter box.

Sorry no, it does not have the correct tuner, however you do not need a converter box if you are connected to cable or satellite
