I have an esp office 2170. I had it hooked up to the network but I don't like the network and I want to use the usb cable. When I enter network settings-wi fi setup wizard, it searches for wireless networks but does not give me the option to switch from the network back to the usb cable. How do I do this?

Please follow the following steps.

1) Turn off the printer.

2)Connect the USB cable to the printer and the other end to the PC through which you want to take the print.

3)Now switch ON the PC(only PC and not the printer)

5) Let the PC boot up and login to windows.

6) Now switch on the printer, PC should detect the printer automatically now.

7) Install the Driver Software from the CD which you have got along with the printer at the time of purchase.

8)Restart the PC
Now you will be able to print.

ESP office 2170 will print from computer, but will not copy from glass or auto feed

Try unplugging.the power cord for a couple of minutes then plug it back in you after doing that you may need to reconnect it to the internet. This will clear out junk from the printer. Then try printing. This works most of the time

Yes- don't use USB as an extender- Network spec for Cat 6 without a repeater ranges from about 165 feet to 75... You should be able to run the cable straight through.
