There may be issue with the motherboard or display may be faulty. Either get the motherboard heated, if this doesn't help, you may need to get the LCD replaced.

Have a growing brown spot on backup camera. The bed has a cover. Could hot weather be ruining the camera?

Before saying, "yes", I'd suggest that you check the lens for stuff on it. I'd also suggest testing another screen, screens are more temperature sensitive than most cameras.

Most likely the unit needs the entire display replaced and moisture may have played a role in this.

Bad display depending on cost of unit may mean buying a new one.

I have a Canon LV-S3 Projector that has a blue discoloration that seems to grow after a period of being on, when left off for a while (30 minutes) it will shrink back down to a small 2" x 4" (W x...

What you describe is caused by heat from the lamp. That in turn is caused by either a very old lamp, (as the lamps age, less light comes out and more heat is generated), blocked filters, dirty fan blades/fan not cooling properly or contamination of the LCD units.
It is not recoverable and will, unless the fault is found, get worse up to a point of total lack of one colour. Usually the blue is the one that suffers most due to the UV light from the lamp turning into heat.

Cracked screen

Hello Mari,
The products standard guarranty doesn't cover cracked screens. You have to replace it. Otherwise the black spot will grow and cover all the screen.
You can find a replacement screen for Casio Exilim Z80 in this link:

http://www.pantallas.biz/epages/wwwpantallasbiz.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/160419/Products/%22Casio%20Z20%20Z80%22

It is not difficult to install. Just make sure that the battery is removed and the flash capacitor discharged before opening the screen.

The computer screen shrinked

Hi,

If you have Vista, try going to Control Panel and clicking Personalization, then Display Settings, and slide the Resolution bar up a bit.
If you have XP, you can right click on the Desktop, click Properties and change the Resolution in there.

Hope this helps!

Black out in corner of screen is growing

If You see that black spot while monitor is off then the LCD needs to be replace. if not then check these....
Check the LCD panel (push a little bit from the black spot place if it loose colours then may be it is due to the improper connection with panel board.( check the voltage while changing the screen resolution, if everything is ok then......
LCD pixels burned. replace the LCD panel or if u want to use it as it is then decrease the brightness and don't use high resolution images.
