That is what Timex does, they usually never repair the watches only send a similar replacement watch. Did you try to call them and notify them of the problem? The phone number for timex product service is 1-800-448-4639 or 1-800-367-9282, they should have at least notified you they were sending a replacement. Sorry about your trouble hope this helps.

Need to send my seiko watch in, makes noise and stopped, no. on back is 507809 is it the sn.

I had a stunning Seiko, back in the '70's. Went into a pawn shop, silver and turquoise Navajo bracelet. Cost me $50. 2 yrs later, it screeched to a halt. Sent it back and sent $25. Two years later, it happened again. Ergo, I had to re-buy my Seiko every 4 years. So I replaced it with a $10 Timex, that is Still running. Love the set, now! That was then. It seems they Still want to do all the work.... I now have a favorite jeweller, the family has been in business since the ? - 1930's? I would find someone like the Butterfield Jewelers, call and ask if they can work on your watch. (these guys are Amazing! I take my solar watch to them just to re-set it!

Time is slow, not accurate at TAG QUARTZ watch

Rarely but sometimes, even the jewelers batteries can be low on energy even when new.

Very unusual that an expensive watch does what you're saying.

Has the watch ever been dropped, OR does it have any noticeable scatches or scuff marks along the edges? use a magnifying glass to inspect it carefully.

if you find unusual marks or scratches, you may have been sold a bad watch too.

Setting the time

Dear Sir,

It appears that the watch was malfunctioning which I thought was due to a change of battery being required.
(It was running slow and giving the wrong time - so my mother told me)

I subsequently found instructions for the watch on an internet site, changed the battery and the watch is still failing to set to the U.K. time zone therefore, I deduce that it is a failure in the watch rather than the need for a new battery or ranything I have or have not done.

Please delete my question from your system

Thank you.

Regards

Casio wave ceptor 4306 is 10 minutes slow

I had the same problem this week and after downloading and reading the operation guide, I found the "adjusting the home positions" procedure in page 2, I followed the instructions and now my Casio 4303 is up and running, I got the operation guide from: http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw4303.pdf (thanks to jeffw284 for the information).
I hope this helps to solve your problem.
Best regards.
