Lexmark x422 for windows 7 32bit. my laptop is dell inspiron n4030 i formatted this laptop and since then my webcam is not working. i do not know how to re install the lexmark x422 imaging device driver software from the resource CD. I have tried it severally but never succeeded please assist me.

You may need to turn off the Filter Keys option. Follow the steps below to turn them off.
Go to
1. Control Panel
2. Ease Of Access Center
3. Make the keyboard easier to use
4. Uncheck the "Turn on Filter Keys" option
You also may need to Check to be sure you don't have Sticky Keys enabled.
BY PRESSING THE SHIFT KEY FIVE TIMES
Without pressing other keys, press the SHIFT key five times to enable Sticky Keys. A window will be displayed asking you if you wish to turn on Sticky Keys Clicking Yes will enable Sticky Keys or click No.
If none of these steps work you may need to replace the keyboard or plug in an external USB keyboard.

Two different blue tooth devices, the one for audio and the one for mouse and keyboard are not the same.

You may have to find the reset disk or may have to do a clean instal in which case is not fun however
If there was no passowrd created by you always remember to go the easies route >>> My advice look @ the operation manual if no luck then at that point you will have to >>>>> ; )

EEEPC = Esc
Compaq = F11
HP Desktop Vista = F11
Emachine = F10
Acer = Alt+F10

Every manufacture has or uses different Function Key combinations to do a Factory Default Recovery. Also if it didn't come with disks there is normally a program in the menus to create your own set of recovery CDs. This must be done before you ever put anything on the recovery partition d: , if you used d: for anything you need to remove what you put there or the recovery will not function.
