When I try to turn on the television it appears as though it will turn on by way of the green on light that populates, however, it immediately turns itself off again. This happens over and over. The television does not click to stay on. I have only had the television for 4 years

Toshiba 32AV502R won't turn on even though green light goes on

Try changing the input device to something you are sure works. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

When i go to turn the tv on the green light go on and then off. i did the coe test error code repeated 10 times

I found that by simultaneously holding down the remote control "power" button and "volume" button for about 30 seconds the blinking light would go out and a solid green light would come on. Even though the solid green light came on the unit would still not power up. After doing this several times however the unit did finally power up in a normal mode and appears to be working again

Tv turns on but nothing will work

If the green light come on but you cant get the menu to populate then the video board has gone out. We have installed hundreds of these in commercial applications and this has happened a few times. New LG LCDs in that size range are around 399 which is close to what it would cost to have it repaired (probably around $240.)

TV will not come on

How old is this TV?
Sounds like it has high voltage failure.
(If you hold your hand on the screen when you try and turn it on, do you feel the static? )
Unless the set is over 10 years old, I would overhaul the high voltage circuit. Should cost under $200 at a shop.
