SkyScan 87801 how to reset time

My SkyScan did not change time when daylight savings time went into effect. I have attempted to fix it but the next day it defaulted bach to one hour earlier than the correct time.

Please tell me the correct way to set the controls.

Each time you press the set button on the back it selects one of the items that you can set. For example if the "month" is selected by pressing the "set" button then press the "+" key to change it from 1->2->3->4 etc. Each time you press "+" key the month will go up by one. Stop when you reach the correct month. You can do the same for each item including the time zone and daylight savings time and whether you want your temperature to be in Celcius or Farenheit. Hope this helps...

As suggested by ashwind in a previous article. Of course his fix was for a "SkyScan 86709 Atomic Wall Clock".. you didn't offer your model number.

I have a radio Shack Atomic Wall Clock 63-1438 and the time didn't change on Oct 31, 2009. Should it automatically change of do I have to reset the clock?

Most atomic clocks simply receive the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) time signal. They do not all allow for daylight savings time changes as not all areas use it.

You will have to adjust manually.

I have a skyscan atomic clock, model 88900. I've absoltely LOVED it until the outside temperature quit being displayed. I have changed the batteries 2x's according to the instructions and have used NEW...

This is a very common problem that is most frequently caused by the outdoor transmitter going bad. They are surprisingly delicate and don't like getting wet.

You can order replacement transmitters from http://skyscan.info/content/

They only cost $11 and that includes shipping and handling.
