Your pictures got corrupted somehow. You can recover pictures from memory card with photo recovery software. Tenorshare Data Recovery is a professional data recovery software that can recover lost, corrupted, deleted or formatted pictures from memory card of digital camera.
But you had better have stopped using the memory card of your camera. Because, once your pictures were overwritten by new ones, they are gone for good.

Here is a tutorial to guide you how to recover pictures from memory card.

If not, just try it quickly.
As to your card pictures, insert this card to your computer with card Reader and download camera memory card data recovery software to see whether your lost pictures could be scanned and retrieved step by step.
Never save anything new on this camera card and also make card data backups from now on.

Are you sure you've saved these newly taken pictures on the memory card of this camera?
If you are, your camera memory card may get some problems.
Try to insert this memory card to your computer and see whether it can work well here.
If this memory card can be read functionally there, you'd better back up every photo well and try to format it to see whether its problem can be fixed.
But, if you also get the same memory card error, you'd better apply a photo recovery freeware to firstly restore your wanted photos back:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/02/photo-recovery.html
This photo recovery freeware has offered you four data recovery options for you to process almost all data recovery problems, such as "Deep Scan Recovery", "Advanced File Recovery" and "Format Recovery", etc. In your case, the former two can be good choices for you.
So, read more information of this freeware here:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/04/data-recovery.html

Note: You should never be so careless about your important data and always back it up well at least on two memory cards or drives.

Actually, you still might be able to get those photos back, even though they've been erased. Try not to take any more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This sounds like the problem may have occurred because you might not have formatted the card in your camera as recommended by the manufacturer. If true, after you've recovered your photos, format the card in your camera using the camera's format feature. This will prevent this from happening again.

Your pictures may be corrupted. You can recover those corrupted pictures with this
1. Do not save any new pictures into the memory card of your camera.
2. Insert the memory card into a card reader. Connect it with computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.

Vikram, first of all take no more pictures with the memory card. You'll need to use recovery software to recover your photos. There are very many freeware options for your to choose (here's a short listing with reviews). You'll need to use your computer's card reader with this software. Now AFTER you've recovered your photo's, you'll need to initialize (format) the card in your camera (DON'T use your computer to initialize the card). This will erase the card, but it will also help prevent this instance from reoccurring. Look in your camera's menus for the format option.

Hi,
Actually the camera is fine and the cause of problem is memory card, Mostly cheaper cards do this but the original cards don't. And as far as concern that you have lost many precious pics, No need to worry about it. Just install any recovery software on your PC and with the help of the software you can get back your pics, Secondly, shift all your pics on memory card in your PC and then format the card through camera, this will solve your problem.(Remember that run recovery software before you format the card if you need to get back your data from memory card)
Thanks
