Open the cover. At some ends there will be 'filters', to clean the air entering the projector. If these filters are blocked with dust or lint, air flow will be blocked.
Clean any dust from these filters. Close the cover and check whether your problem is solved.

No air coming through vents

There are 3 likely possibilities:

  1. Bad heater motor - a dead heater motor means no air flow
  2. Disconnected or hole in air flow hose - sometimes a vent hose will dislodge just enough to disrupt air flow. Check underneath the inside of the passenger compartment for any loose hose connections. You can also turn the heat (or vent) on HI and check the air flow hose for any pinholes that also could disrupt your air flow
  3. Bad Control Center - if the Control Center is bad, it won't trigger the heater motor to turn on and push air

Where is mass air flow senser on a 1989 buick regal

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The BUICK Regal Mass Air Flow sensor is usually installed in the intake air duct between the air filter and the throttle body mounted on the intake manifold. Also check the throttle body for mass air flow sensors location.
On mass air flow sensors with a sense wire, this wire can become contaminated with dust particles. These particles can be removed with automotive solvents that are safe for the use on mass air flow sensors. Before replacing the mass air flow sensor check for air leaks in the connecting air ducts and intake manifold. These leaks can cause similar symptoms as a malfunctioning mass air flow sensor.

Bad or contaminated BUICK Regal Mass Air Flow sensor can possibly cause a wide range of various vehicle drivability problems such as stalling, especially when the engine is cold, misfiring, poor acceleration, etc. In addition, a problem with the Mass Air Flow sensor often causes the "check engine" or "service engine soon" light in the vehicle instrument panel to illuminate.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Taking 2 hours to dry load of clothes

I always first check the air flow. Turn the dryer on and check the air flow outside at the vent. If your not sure what a good air flow would be then disconnect the vent hose at the dryer and feel the air flow at the dryer and compair to the outside.

If the air flow on the outside is not what it should be then a leaf blower hooked to the inside vent hose will clear it out.

Good air flow, then I put an oven thermometer at the dryer air discharge to check the temp.

It should cycle between 100 - 150 degrees, if not, then let me know what it's reading
