Hi, I have a Maytag Jetclean EQ PLus. I just changed the door seal and now it often stops mid cycle because the the seal pushes the door out just enough to disengage the cycle. the seal is properly inserted and it seems that the upper door latch has no mechanical function other than keeping the door closed. Is there a way to recalibrate the closure so that the cycle stays engaged?

Rather than a problem with the latch sensor it just might be that something is preventing the door from fully closing properly. Check that there are no obstructions stuck on the door/frame seals and that the seals are in good order. Perished seals can prevent the door from closing evenly and this may cause the problems you are experiencing. Also check that the door itself is not warped or out of alignment, this will also cause such problems.

What is the model number?

Jiggle the water level float sensor .It is stuck .

I have the same dishwasher with the same problem, try pushing the delay/resume button, then the drain/off button. When the lights go off start your wash cycle.

the door seal has gone better change the door surround seal also. check for case damage and obstructions aswell.

Try pressing delay/resume then drain/off. In some cases you might need to do delay/resume then drain/off twice.

My Maytag Jetclean Flexiload is 4 years old. Upon choosing a program the timer counts down but little action is heard. Near the end of the cycle an Error message comes up. The dishes are stiil uncleaned.

This could be due to 2 problems: not enough water or water is not being pumped hard enough through the system. The 'not enough water' is easy to check - open the door in the middle of a wash cycle. If you have enough water (about 1" or more) then that is probably ok. The 'not pumping hard enough' could be as simple as plugged up filters and holes in the spray arms. Remove the racks and disassemble the lower spray arm and the filter assembly all the way down past the screen. Clean the arm holes, throughly clean the screen, clean everything. Pull the top spray arm and throughly clean the spray holes there. Put it all together and run a cycle. You should see a pronounced increase in the sound of the water spraying around. This should fix your problem - it did for me.
