Today it was on and it clicked like we turned it off but the light was still green the audio was there but no more picture just a grey screen. We turned it of even unplugged it but still no picture. The green light flashes a few seconds when you first turn it on now. Please help had it for less then 2 years.
Never had that model but had other similar models do that when dust shorted out the High Voltage section.
I suggest clean it out with a gentle vacuum and an upholstery attachment. First check to see if set is under warranty.
Unless you are checked-out with high voltages suggest have a qualified tech test and do this for you.

Try One of your working TVS and connect it to your cable outlet of the TV that is having problems. If that TV Does not work then there may be a degraded fitting or the Leg coming of the splitter to that outlet could have a Low Signal Problem
Next Take the First TV that was not working properly and put it on the cable outlet of one of the TVs that is working properly and if the TV set works on that Channel then you know it is not your TV that it must be the cable

Yes, you are correct. there are a few component issues on the power circuit board that will need to be replaced. the mani component will be the capacitors and transistors.if not repaired soon, this unit will completely stop working.

replace the power supply it is a simple fix if you can hear the relays click 2 times or more replace the power supply board you can order them from UNION Electronics ask for kyle when you call ,,if the power supply isnt the problem then it will be the control board located below the power supply board I have repaired a few of these the voltages are marked on the power sullpy board conections be careful there is a VERY HIGH AND DANGEROUS VOLTAGE FEEDING THE X AND Z BOARDS DONT REMOVE THIS WITH SET PLUGED IN IT IS HOT ENOUGH TO BURN A HOLE IN YOUR SKIN AND EVEN DO MORE DAMAGE TO YOU if your not sure what to do Call LG they have a good support theam there

I've had this TV for 2 years and no problems at all, and then last night during the 4th quarter of the gmae...it goes "pop" sounded like a static electricity sound, and it turned itself off. I turned it back on, and it would stay on for a minute or two and thern click...it turned off...any clues?
