This means that this person listed with a minimum amount that they would accept, that the reserve, when the reserve has not been met, usualy the seller will relist the item and try again. if you had saved that item listing in your watched list and you try to go to it, it should tell you that the auction for that item ended and will indicate if seller has relisted..hope that helps..

Sellers listings

It means that the amount of money that you set up for your reserve (the amount of money that you needed to have for your item) price wasn't met. If the reserve isn't met then your item won't sell.

93 fxr runs out of gas on reserve in 2miles.I've pulled the vale and filter all good.IS used to get 30 miles on reserv y the change ? Can enyone help

My friend, the reserve is to get you to the gas station not the next town. Only a foolish person depends on the reserve for transportation. Do not count on the reserve ... fill up every 100 miles and you will never run out of gas. Forget the reserve setting. The ONLY reason for a reserve position is to account for the lack of a fuel gage. Stop pushing your luck. There is nothing wrong with your bike.

Reserve fuel tank question...

Hi,
Check that fuel valve, pull out that output fuel hose, turn the valve to "reserve", if fuel flows, that means it works( fuel valve ), if no fuel flows, that valve has STUCK valve flow.

Most bike problem is in that fuel valve.

Hope that helps!

I just want to know how many miles can you travel on your reserve tank of petrol

Make this simple: How much gas is only avaiable to the reserve: What's your "economy" MPG? (We ALWAYS slow down when we are running on reserve, don't we?) MPG x reserve = milel drivable until final sputter.

Bought my v-star 'previously enjoyed'. no manual. please advise positions for reserve tank switch...i'd really rather not have to figure out by actual experience! thanx

Down is "on", forward is "off", up is "reserve". Mine will travel 170 miles on a tank and an additional 30 miles on reserve. Any more questions.... [email protected]

I have a 99 Mercury Sable Wagon that keeps boiling the radiator fluid out of the reserve tank. The temp gauge isn't reading hot, though. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds to me like a blown head gasket. Even if your vehicle is not warmed up, if your reserve tank is boiling fluid out of it when the engine is cool, it's most likely losing compression from it all going to your reserve tank. And thats why it's fluids coming out of your reserve tank. BUT, if your radiator is clogged then the same thing could happen. So i would start out cheap before you have to replace a HG. Reserve was not met auction over how do i pay thru pay pal

If the reserve was not met and the auction is over that means that the item did not sell. The reason why is the seller did not get enough money that he asked for to meat the reserve. You can not buy the item unless the reserve was met. You can contact the seller to ask if he is willing to sell it to you.

How do you put a reserve price

A reserve price is the lowest price at which you’re willing to sell your item. If you don’t want to sell your item below a certain price, you can a set a reserve price. The amount of your reserve price isn’t shown to your bidders, but they will see that your auction has a reserve price that has not been met. If a bidder doesn’t meet that price, you aren’t obliged to sell your item. Once the reserve price has been met, the reserve price text is no longer displayed.
Why have a reserve price? Many sellers have found that too high a starting price discourages interest in their item, while an attractively low starting price makes them vulnerable to selling at an unsatisfactorily low price. A reserve price helps with this.
Note: The reserve price option is only visible in the online auction format; it’s not visible for fixed price or classified ad listings. It’s also not available for Multiple Item auctions.
All Reserve Price Auctions are subject to a Reserve Price Auction Fee.
You may lower your reserve price after you receive bids on the item.
Note: To keep eBay a safe place for buyers and sellers, eBay limits how bid history information is shown. User IDs are not shown—buyers are identified only as anonymous names throughout the duration of the auction, even if you lower the price. Only you, the seller, can see the user IDs of bidders on your items.
