Hi nelly? Yes. open the top cover by un screwing all the screws. Care fully disconnect all cables that connect to the motherboard from the tray. Un screw the 4 screws from the main unit to release the tray. If the tray wont come off, un screw the front panel from the main unit and look for some locks on the side. Unlock the locks and pull the tray plus front panel out. Turn the tray upside down and on the left side near the top of the tray, check for a gear. Try to move the gear in the direction that it is moving without forcing it and gently the tray will open. Once it opens, unlock the front cover attached to the tray to be able to have the tray on its own without the front panel. Check if a black rubber band that drives the tray is working or has lost elasticity and also check if the load motor is in good working condition. If any of the two has an issue, just replace and your dvd is good to go.

If the outside lid of the CD tray has a small hole in it, this is to manually unlock the tray so that you can pull it open. Straighten out a large paper clip or use some other stiff wire to poke straight into the hole to push against the unlock lever. You may need to slip a thin knife blade into the crack to pull the tray out, but don't force it. The tray should move easily when it's unlocked. The wire or tiny rod you poke into the hole needs to be fairly stiff. Good luck, genetuck
The Xerox 6110 MFP has a green 'lock/unlock' slider on the "roof" of the "out" paper tray (under the front control pannel assembly); see images below. When slide to the back, it locks the scanner, and to the front unlocks it.
