Just give your pc and mobile two different ip addresses manually.
it would get fixed.

SOURCE: wireless network broken, access to WRT54G & Motorola 2210-02 via http.. denied

I have att yahoo dsl which I installed about a year ago. The process required bridging the ADSL Modem (in my case a speedstream 4100) and accepting dynamic IP addresses and configuring PPPoE on the WAN side of my Linksys router. The ATT support person walked me through the entire process over the phone even though I was comfortable with making the Linksys configuration changes as I had to do the same in China without technical support. The modem configuration was no more difficult than the router configuration as it was performed from a web browser too. The biggest warning was that to reverse the modem change (if desired) required use of a reset button because the web interface was disabled as a result of the configuration change. My advice to you especially if you are willing to attach the Linksys router to the telco modem is to contact the ATT highspeed DSL support line and see if they will walk you through it like they walked me through it. Reviewing your Linksys User's Guide and understanding the configuration of that device would probably be appreciated by the ATT Support person as well as assuring you can access the Linksys router to configure it during the call.

SOURCE: cannot access the router. Reset as directed, still

Your computer is connected to the router. check the port lights on the router. If your computer is connected to number 1 port on the router then you will see port 1 light on the router.
Connect your computer to one of port 1, 2, 3, or 4. Not to the Internet port.
If the port light is not lit up then check the connections. Make sure that there is no loose connection.
If ti is lit up then check the IP address on your computer. The default gateway number wil be the IP address of the router. Use that number to access the rotuer settings. Some times the Ip address of the router will be different ( Depends on ISP ).
Once you have correct I address of the router then try to ping that number and check if you get replies.

SOURCE: how to connect my Linksys

The Linksys Wireless router is fine, but your latop is not configured for DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). The computer is connected to the router at layer 2, whereas HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), sits
atop the TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) layer, and seems to be trying to
query the ISP's (Internet Service Provider) network for a nameserver (via DNS (Dynamic Name Service) protocol) that doesn't exist on the ISP's network. Configuring the laptop for DHCP and specifying no nameserver will fix this (the ISP's network will dynamically assign a DNS).

Its also possible (though a remote possibility) that your Linksys wifi router may be configured to disallow TCP/IP virtual circuits to/from your computer's IP address - but this is a really advanced
capability of your Linksys wifi router - few know this capability even exists.

Connecting multiple wifi devices to the Linksys router should be no problem, just configure them all to interact with the router using DHCP.

SOURCE: I'm using TP-LINK TD-W8101G ADSL

Unfortunately, you can't use two routers together in that manner. You must have a device in between them such as a switch or bridge or you'll have to disable the DHCP server settings in the second router. The second router then pretty much becomes a switch you may then use all the ports on the second router with the exception of the WAN port it must remain unoccupied. However, if you need wireless connectivity in another location far away from your main router then your only solution would be to indeed purchase an actual access point/bridge device

I have a ZyXEL EQ-660R-F1 and a Linksys Wireless Router (B BEFW1154) that I'm trying to hook up. Can you tell me what I need to do?

Who is your ISP (internet service provider)? Anyway, it is possible to get your set up working. ZyXel is the DSL modem gateway and Linksys, your router/wifi. If you are able to get online by hooking up directly to the Zyxel, then it is possible to add the Linksys to the system.
Dont hook up the Zyxel to the Internet port of Linksys just yet. First you have to configure the Linksys by connecting your PC to it with a cable. Boot up the PC.
Open web browser and enter the address 192.168.1.1 and hit enter. This is the default address of the Linksys. username = admin and no password. It is probably the same as the Zyxel which causes the conflict.
The first set up page may look something like this below.
Change the LAN IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1
Then click apply...From now on the Linksys IP address is 192.168.2.1.
Now you can connect the Linksys internet port to the Zyxel. Reboot the Linksys and Zyxel.

Your PC should be on the internet after that. To check/setup wifi, you need to log back into the Linksys using the new adress x.x.2.1

Unable to obtain valid IP config

Unplug power to ISP modem, till you see it reboot. Test with a cable to establish you can connect directly with ISP modem. If OK, reconnect with wireless modem. You will have to switch between wireless and regular network adapter on laptop for this test.

Use these instructions to test and see IP's.Go to Start > Search > Type cmd and hit enter key.
In Command Shell:

Type ipconfig /all These are your IP settings.
Type ipconfig /release To clear IP settings.
Type ipconfig /renew For new IP settings.

You will need to check NIC drivers in Device Manager if problem persists.
