Just to be safe, verify that there's not any sort of obstruction in the slot. Some makers place a "dummy" card in the slot to keep it clean for shipping.
Looking at the top of your scanning unit, the mSD card should go in gold contacts facing up & towards the unit with the cut corner to the right (facing the head of the scanner). If it doesn't go with slight pressure, return to the seller.
The Wii console will not play game discs (disc is not recognized) System displays either error message "Unable to read disc" or "Disc could not be read"
Note
Wii Game Discs are region locked, and can only be played on hardware from the same country where the game was released. (A European game cannot be played on a North American system, for example.)
What To Do:
The Wii console is only compatible with Wii and GameCube discs. It is not compatible with DVDs or discs made for other home consoles. Verify that the disc you are inserting is compatible with the Wii system. An error message may display if the disc is ejected during play. Return to the HOME Menu before changing discs. Verify that the console is placed correctly. If the Wii console is lying flat, the game disc slot should be above all three buttons and the SD Card slot. If the Wii console is standing vertically, the power button should be on the top and the console should be in the stand. Note: Only Wii consoles with model number RVL-001 are intended to be placed vertically. (Learn more) Verify that the disc is being inserted properly. If the console is placed horizontally, the disc label will face upwards. If the console is placed vertically, the disc label will face to the right. Check the non-printed side of the game disc for dirt or severe damage (such as scratches or cracks). If the disc is dirty, try cleaning the game disc. (How to) If the disc is damaged or scratched, it will need to be replaced. Please click here for replacement options. If the problem occurs with only one game disc, there may be a problem specific to that game. Click here to check our list of specific game issues. Make sure only licensed accessories are being used. Unlicensed products do not undergo Nintendo's testing and evaluation process. They may not work at all with our game systems, and they may have compatibility problems with certain games or accessories.
If you are inserting a DS card, be sure there are no foreign articles inside the slot. Blow into the DS card slot to clear any debris. Also be sure you are inserting the card all the way in until it clicks. I've also found that if you're powering on a game, and you bump, grasp or touch the ds card as the DS is powering on, that can cause it to not read games.
Check the actual DS card itself and carefully look at the exposed contacts on the circuit board. Be sure none of them are scratched, damaged or otherwise. A scratch can damage a contact, thus preventing proper data read.
If anything was spilled onto the DS card, be sure it is thoroughly cleaned with a damp cloth (no cleeaning chemicals!) If you immerse the DS card, or pour liquids on it, that may damage it as well.
Same points hold true for inserting a Gameboy Advance game (if you have a DS or a DS Lite. The DSi and DSiXL do not have Gameboy Advance slots.
If you turn on the DS and nothing happens, try a different DS Card. If it only happens with that one particular game (or games) your DS cards are damaged or need cleaning. If all your games are not playing, there is a problem with your DS. Try your games in a friend's DS just to make sure. You'll probably have to send the unit to Nintendo for repair, or take it to an authorized repair center.
Here's a site where you can download the driver of your MP3 player just select your Operating system. For the memory card problem try to clean the contact points in the memory card slot and scratch the contact terminals of your memory card.
Make sure The card is clean with no scratches. Also make sure the slot for the care is dust free. Also if you are using a memory card bigger than 4gb it might not read. try using a smaller card
The replacement drive is not the same size as the original and the wizard is looking for a drive that size.
There is also a possibility that the error is causes by bad RAM (0A-0543-0000 is a read write error) if you have more than one RAM module try the wizard with one module at a time, see if error is isolated to one or the other module or slot
The Restore CD is dirty/scratched of has a flaw in the original write
The optical drive is defective or dirty
So things you can try:
Clean the media you are trying to restore from.
Clean the optical drive with a drive cleaning CD.
Swap Ram as suggested, replace defective if necessary (OS install is about most RAM intensive process you run on a system)
Try a manual Windows install from a Windows CD not a image restore cd
You might try cleaning the contacts with some fine 400 grit sandpaper or other contact cleaner. I have a 2 year old 680, and I cut a piece of this sandpaper to the same size as the sim card. I pushed it into the slot, and ran it in and out for half a minute. I also sanded the contacts on the sim. Not too much, mind you, but it cured my problem. Good luck...
you need a new memory card reader off of ebay or amazon. OR, the game is corrupt, and the mem. stick reader stops reading because there is nomore file to be read
