LG HD TV has a floating message on screen No CL module. What does this mean and can I correct it?

I wonder if this model is meant to receive HD channels in the first place. If it isn't, that is probably why you get that on-screen message. If it has a built in SD digital tuner, then it is not a HD digital tuner/DVD recorder; it would only be SD, hence the message.

It is possibly a limitation of the model, not a fault.

High Defination tv mean the picture rate in 1080p.The picture very clear and close to real as mush as possible.

Call LG for service may need firmware upgrade or new main board.

This means one of 3 things

1. Bad Ram module
2. The Ram module is not plugged in correctly or all the way in.
3. The Ram could be incompatible.

Error message CL solved. CL means child lock. To deactivate press two linked buttons (on my machine the right options button and the temp button) together for a couple of seconds.

Had that problem before. CL means child lock. You need to press the wash and rinse buttons together to unlock.
