Lights on chair come on but it will not run....... I was in the hospital and fogot and left it plugged in for 21/2 days so it should have power. please let me know what to do I got this at prde mobility in McAlester Betty Keeth Rt 5 Bix1708B Eufaula, Ok

Chair is in the neutral or freewheel position to allow for pushing the chair. Place each motor in the drive position and turn chair on again.

If you are moving as soon as you turn on the chair, the lights will move from right to left. Try waiting a few seconds and see if the lights stop moving. If they do stop, then you can move forward. Hope this helps.

Sweet you do not need to leave the charger plugged in for several days. Sounds like there is a charger problem When you first plug the charger in with batteries depleted you should be getting a red and yellow light with the yellow turning green when fully charged. now the charger (built in) could have become unplugged from the power module located in the rear of the chair behind the black cover. To get to it you have to remove the seat, shroud and batteries then using a phillips screwdriver and adjustable wrench remove the black cover. The charger cord will be the last one on the left with a small 4 pin white plastic plug make sure it is well seated in the power module. If it isn't loose then you have a problem with the charger or the circuit. Now if you know of a friend that has an off board charger for a chair or scooter that you can borrow you can charge the batteries using the charger port located under the front of the joystick Plug the charger into the port then into the wall socket and let er rip Charge until the light turns green overnite is a good habit to get into If the onboard charger is bad I would suggest you by an offboard charger (cheaper) Now if Medicare paid for your Dads Chair then they will pay for any repairs even batteries and you can contact the provider that your dad got the chair from to see if they will repair it Hope this helps

sounds like a charger inhibit problem. Whenever you charge your chair the charger inhibit shuts down the chair so it can't be moved while charging. If you are getting this then that function is not working. Lets try this if you know of someone who has a chair or scooter with an off-board charger see if you can borrow it. Plug the off-board charger into the charger port located under the front of the joystick (don't have the on-board charger plugged in) and then turn the charger on. turn the chair's power on and you hopefully will see the lights blinking again indicating a charger plugged in (charger inhibit) the lights on the charger should be red and yellow (yellow turning green when fully charged) If you still get the problem with the off-board charger then your problem is in the controller or power module and this requires a new one. If Medicare paid for your chair you can call Repair Xpress @ 1-877-81-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 to have them fix it for you and bill Medicare for most of the repair costs. Eduardo After using your chair and the battery level lights are down with yellow or red lights showing just plug the chair into the wall socket and let er rip. Now really after using your chair during the day and you are ready for bed just plug in the charger and let it charge over night. In the morning unplug the charger and you should be set for the day. If you don't use the chair everyday always put it up with a full charge and about once a week plug it in and let it charge overnight. Never leave the chair plugged in all the time and never leave it for more that 24 hours. The charger has two lights on it one red and one yellow or green that are hard to see because they are under the rear cover. When the chair is fully charged the yellow light turns green and you can unplug the charger and you should have a full charge. Hope this helps you

Hi. Why do you have two different sized batteries? When you charge them, they will not charge up evenly. You say it ran for two days, did you charge it each night or after the two days running? Batteries last the best if they are charged overnight after each days running. The two flashing lights might be a fault code. Can you tell us what controller is in the machine, we can look up the fault codes. Why was the left hand motor rebuilt? In power chairs and mobility scooters the motors develope a build up of carbon dust and copper bust from the brushes and commutator. This build-up causes a leakage of power from the wiring in the motor to the frame of the motor. If this happens it is possible to get a short developing between the two motors, which causes the controller to go into a fault mode.Good luck. Neil.

you need to have the batteries tested it is possible that if left in a discharged state for an extended time that thee batteries may be damaged and will not be able to be recharged

Indeed, you need to find a repair shop. Try a google search for power chair repair, or ask your local hospital or if you can find one a power chair store. Most likely, you have a mechanical failure of the wiring, the battery themselves, or corrosion on the battery posts. Since the chair lights up when the charger is in, it is unlikely that the charger is broken. You may have a failure of the controller board, but that is also unlikely. And batteries do not usually suddenly fail completely; they typically fail slowly, losing the ability to completely charge.

I assume that you did not see a great deal of fluid leaking out of the battery container; you might look in the container and check to see if a battery is cracked or missing fluid.
