Nokia E63 Cell Phone Logo
Posted on Sep 12, 2011

Yesterday I turned off my Nokia e63 device. When I tried to turn it back on I held down the power button until it vibrated as normal, the centre light came on as normal however the screen stays black and it won't turn on. I've tried recharging it thinking it could possibly be a dead battery but that hasn't worked I've also tried to plug it into my computer and that hasn't worked. I've also removed the battery several times as well as the sim card but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciate

Phone turned off itself and i turned it back on, it now says "try again in 538472 minutes"

Do a Full Reset THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

  1. Press and hold the Volume down and Power buttons at the same time until you feel a vibration (about 10-15 seconds).
  2. When you feel the vibration, immediately press and hold the Volume down button until you see a large exclamation mark.
  3. Once the exclamation mark appears, press the following four buttons in this order: Volume up , Volume down , Power , Volume down . Your phone should now reset and restart itself. (It might take a while for the reset to finish.)

HP laptop wont start up properly

If it has a CD/DVD drive, and you have a 'startup disk' or similar utility disk that may have come with the system, you can put the CD in the drive, and see if it will boot from there. Normally holding down the 'F12' key will give you the menu to choose which device to boot from.

If you're not comfortable trying that type of thing, it's probably best to take it to a repair center.

Good luck, and post any updates,

Vibration when some one is calling

Quoting "SRALPH" from HowardForums.com
http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/779306-1.html

With the power off:

1) press and hold the volume down button, which is the closest one to the mic
2) with that button held, simultaneously press and hold down the power button until the blue led flashes.

This will deactivate the vibrate function and it should stay deactivated until you power up the headset with the volume up button pressed and held in during power up
