SOURCE: My Jura Ena 5 gives a 'fill beans' message

Same thing happening to me right now. I think this has something to do with having used flavored beans (which I was warned not to do). Supposedly they gum up the machine.

Ena9 coffee comes out is bitter

The most common cause of bitter coffee is that the water is too hot. And the most common cause of too hot water is too much pressure in the boiler. So, the first thing to look at is the pressurestat of the machine, it should be accessable and adjustable. 1.5 bar is often the maximum pressure for good coffee (don't confuse it with the 11 bar pressure in the grouphead when brewing).

My Jura Ena gives a 'fill beans' message even though the hopper is full and it won't grind the beans even though it seems to be operating. Help.

Mine just started doing the same thing. I've always only used plain espresso beans. Only thing is I may have overfilled the hopper and packed the beans down a bit. How can I make it start grinding again?

Jura E9 grinder spins but does not grind

I had a similar problem, and solved it by turning the grinder by hand against resistance. Apparently the grinder wasn't really turning during the cycle and needed to be cleared. If your beans are "hopping" this may be a different problem.
