I have a DKNY NY-1251 but i need the instruction to work it because it not working with new batteries. it was working but keeps on stopping

If it is an analog watch and the second hand moves a few time then stops and sort of twitches then the watch battery (even though new) may be bad. If not the the watch is dead and needs repair.

My fossil big tick has stopped working

Lots of possibilities. One is they put in a dead battery, don't laugh. I have seen this several times. Two, the watch has a problem other than the battery and you assumed the problem was the battery when actually it is something else. I have more but these two are the obvious. Find a watchmaker.

The display went blank, changing battery didn't bring it back to life. I have 2 of these watches and have successfully changed batteries before, despite the tricky process. is this watch dead?

Unless the new battery is dead that would explain it, but assuming the battery is good it indicates a failure in the electronic module and should be considered done.

Will the analog (hands) stop working on a Wave Ceptor when the battery is low/dead? Digital feature still works fine....watch about 4 years old

Yes, definitely analogue part will stop, because it takes more power to move gears and hands. Replace battery and you'll be OK. Rate me, plz.

Battery reads 2.85 is it dead?

I am assuming you have a lithium battery and they test good at 3. Since they can die off slowly i would replace it as it may not have enough to power your watch. These will typically need to be replaced about every two years or so.

Setting a Citizen Chronograph watch

assuming the battery isn't dead (IF IT IS DON'T TAKE THE BACK OFF, YOU WILL LOSE THE SPRING THAT MAKES THE ALARM SOUND) the button on the bottom right click it until the function selector is pointed to time, then pull the button out, then the top two buttons i believe change the hour hands. before setting the time you will need to zero this watch out, or calibrate it or the date will not change in synch with the time at midnight.

my battery is dead and i am a truck driver and am therefore having a difficult time (no pun intended) finding a place i can get parked to have my battery changed. please believe me when i tell you that you will lose this spring, a jeweler lost mine once and it took months to order a new one

Crane and Viceroy ladies RC watch

Hi, Klik and Crane & Viceroy are excellent and robust watches, but due to the radio control batteries need to be changed more often than ordinary watches. Instructions for resetting the time on a Klik or Crane & Viceroy watch. With the watch face upwards and the buttons on the right assume the buttons to be; top button - "A", middle button "B" For setting the watch to GMT all hands need to point to 12 oclock exactly. To achieve this press Button A until the hands start spinning. Stop the spinning when the time reaches a couple of minutes before 12 oclock by repressing A. Inch the time forward by repressing Button A until all hands are at 12 oclock.(EXACTLY). Press Button B within 10 seconds and the time will advance 1 hour and stop. The radio signal will be picked up automatically and time will set itself in a few minutes. Notes: If you have radio dead spots avoid these when resetting the watch and do it away from magnetic or large metal objects. i.e. trays etc. If you are refitting a new battery and have a battery that isn't quite dead, do the advancement of time with the old battery and fit the new one near to 12 oclock to get the best life out of the new battery. If for any reason you want the watch to be in radio mode but read a time other than GMT ( no adjustment is needed for BST ), then instead of stopping the watch at 12 oclock stop it at the time in relation to 12 oclock. i.e. if you wanted the watch to read 30 minutes fast then stop the watch at 12.30. if you want any other info my email is; [email protected]
