Archos 405

I had the same problem as the archos web site is not the easiest to navigate.Have you actualy registered the product yet ?if so once logged in add your device as a product,on my products click on the picture of the 405 and that will take you to the screen for downloading archoslink (software to install the tv guide) and to the subscription page for down loading the tv guide.
How ever i have done all this and although i can download the guide i cannot sync it to my 405 so still unable to record off tv....Email gone to archos so fingers crossed....
I purchased my Archos 405 in September and have NEVER been able to use it. From the very first time I connected it to the computer I was told the keys were disabled. During this time the software SHOULD have been downloading, but wasn't. It was suggested that I try to use a 3rd party USB cable. I have done that and it make no difference. As of right now I have a super expensive paperweight.
